Hello ( I play Stadia on Chrome Cast Ultra 4K with 5.1 Surround Sound + HDR + 4K at 10G per second via CAT6 -> full fibre ) So I saw that you needed a mic as you could not use the controller one I did not want a headset. So Stadia was saying connect a mic to talk in party or game chat. So I went to eBay and got a mic. I plug the mic into the controller and it thinks that it is a headset Here is a picture The Jack is 3.5MM anything that I need todo or is this an issue with google

Hello Most questions here are bad but I just wanted to say I used stadia 1 week now playing Watch Dogs Legion everyday for around 8 hours straight with the stadia controller using the Chrome Cast Ultra with a 244Hz Monitor plus 1000MB download speed on a 5ghz connection. I have had 0 issues 0 lag issues 0 interference issues. 0 Latency issues. Basically its like its running on hardware I can't tell the difference yes the 60hz is capped not too 244hz. But apart from that Stadia for me beats the xbox series x/s and PS5 having all of them. I returned my PS5/Xbox S/X and just use stadia it updates instant and no downloads. I want to also thank @GraceFromGoogle for all the help and support on this forum and google it self. All I would want is 244FPS to take advantage of my monitor as the network can handle it and the stadia controller to use the mic for game chat. Stadia is amazing and I love it All the people tearing down stadia are fools and just need good internet !!!!!!! Thank you
That wouldn't really work As FREE stadia is putting a loss onto Google as they need to spin up instance's to handle the new player base unlike you downloading and putting it into you're system. ...

That wouldn't really work As FREE stadia is putting a loss onto Google as they need to spin up instance's to handle the new player base unlike you downloading and putting it into you're system. You run the game so you're paying to pay for it by electricity right nothing is free If the player base is huge they can do this type of stuff you see

I totally get this Gen 2 Only 2 things we need to take into consideration about this A good thing about this is PlayStation and Xbox already launched so this puts Google in a power position as they can see the hardware and flaws at there competitors 1: The running costs of google . they can easily put this too 32G ram / 64G ram / 164G ram 28 cores CPU 20 terra flops crazy specs as it's data center .... SSD 1 second load times all custom built. But if you look currently at Google it's 10.7 terra flops along the same like of Xbox and psn. The reason they don't is that stadia is software as a service unlike xbox and playstation they could do 8K 120FPS because the chip sets and the more units the cheaper costs etc you understand business. Unlike Google it needs consumer's to buy a subscription or put more on games games 40$ would need to be 50$ to pay for it's data centers. They already had to pull its game development department as it was putting a loss on Google. At least they learned tho right ? Or nah. If there were millions using stadia and it was pulling bin millions to Google we can see this go to 164G break the industry for gaming 2: Compression I have 1000MB second the average consumer in countries that's internet infrastructure maybe not be advanced as western countries that have 1-10Mb and the people with 10-5MB they need to make VP10 Or a new system to handle the 120FPS or even 8K nothing todo with hardware unlike me I don't care I can handle 8K 120FPS 500MB second just for Google but the average person can't so Google need to make and spend time on this technology even todo witch is hard they had to make 1080P / 4K perfect even get into negative latency . Once that is perfect fully to the max I think it is now it's been 1 year since launch in 2019. Conclusion: Google IO 2021 will definitely have some exciting news 120FPS maybe 8K idk good things to come with Google tho. This is the future All we need is compression and the running costs for Google !!!!!!! Gen 2 all the way BABY And in terms of player base they just need the Fortnite players BUT remember if it's free it's costing Google money as as for PlayStation and Xbox when you get that free game you already bought the hedwao .... So it's even. Call of duty on stadia exclusive for updates and battle royale up too 1000 players or 500 players no lag unlimited some big features like this I would be drawn to stadia right 500 player battle royale right on STADIA omddddddd Google knows paitent is key ( I am not associated with Google he he he )
