Started working again yesterday. Flawless.   Very odd.
Day 3 and counting... I don't have a VPN to test, but this would point the finger at Weboass' @JoelEblin . They denied over the phone any type of throttling, but it would solve the mystery.   ... See more...

Happening again. No changes on my part... Will try again tomorrow.

@tonyc Confirmed that it works well, just checked (had not much time to play recently) Yes, the issue came and went. No clear culprit, but definitely no changes on my part (home setup, etc.) and neither Nest or Stadia or Weboass' support had a clue. All the troubleshooting was a waste of time since it now works with or without special ports open or reserved IPs, etc, just like it did before.

Hi thanks, This happens to a Pixel 5, Pixel Slate, and MacBook Pro (it's the same via WiFi or connecting them directly to the internet bypassing the Nest Wifi router entirely). It also occured on an iPad, that i can't test via ethernet though. The Pixel 5 works via 5G and so does the Pixel Slate with mobile data tethering. I tried pinging stadia for packet loss and have 0, which makes sense since my ISP, WebPass is owned by google. The issue seems to be in how Stadia talks to my ISP or vice versa, but not the devices or the router.   Glad to hear I'm not alone.
Same exact issue started 5 days ago ...just posted a separate thread here on this because support told me they heard nothing of this ..should have known better and dug deeper before posting

Been enjoying stadia since August 2020, a flawless experience on my setup (Google Fiber Webpass 250Mbps and Google Nest Wifi on Chromecast and iPad). Was really looking forward to Hitman 3. Unfortunately since 1/20, Hitman's release date, i have not been able to load any games on any device with no changes in settings or equipment or service on my part. I am stuck at the please "check your connection" screen that i had never seen in the prior months of usage. I can select to continue, but have major visual issues and get kicked out of the session within seconds. I spent a few hours with 3 support services and got moved around by generally well intentioned, but puzzled people (as am I): 1 - Stadia can't seem to see me even attempt to connect, but since I can connect on mobile (5G or LTE) they are pointing to a wifi or internet problem, not a stadia one. 2 - Google Fiber Webpass claims to not be blocking or throttling anything and that they simply provide unfiltered access to anything, the issue is with the router or stadia. I did connect directly to the ethernet port (that's how I get internet) with a laptop and even my phone and got the exact same result (so it can't be a wifi or router issue, but Webpass still claims they changed nothing on their end and that they block nothing). Testing with M-lab still gives me more than 250Mbps. 3 - Google Nest Wifi settings were fine before, but i did add custom DNS, port management, IP address reservations, rebooted, reset, etc. just to test and got the same result. 2 hours with support meant redoing all that and being told everything is fine you need to talk to Stadia. I can't do a wifi test on someone else wifi because of COVID and I'm running out of ideas. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
