Well it appears all the naysayers were 100% correct that Google couldn't be trusted not to abandon Stadia. Going to be hard to swallow any future Google offerings or promises after this. Am a founding member and bought into their committment by remaining with the service. I guess I got my $10 worth each month but that still doesn't serve as an excuse for them to walk away.
So where are all these 12 days of Stadia specials. I've checked every day and haven't seen anything new since they first announced the promo.

OK!. Just checked my email and sitting in my inbox was an email from Google with the redemption code for the Resident Evil controller promo. They had an embedded link to follow that automatically applied the redemption code, credited $99 and then added $9.99 for shipping and $.80 tax. Checcked out and the order indicates should arrive by this next Friday. Booya!

I checked my Stadia Pro Library and the game is live. I received an email from Google Play that I was charged for the game, but no mention of the Premiere Edition redemption and no redemption code. I'm guessing the redemption code follows at some time, but not sure when. Seems that the redemption code for the controller should be provided at the time they charge you for the game. But then... Google has had various issues in the past with how they have rolled out their promos, like back when they first released Stadia and screwed up Founder's Editions.

Completely agree. I'm a casual gamer, not hard core,  and don't see the value proposition in buying a next gen console (PS or Xbox) starting at $500 and then paying out the anticipated $$$, as much as $70, for games to run on those. Since I've been on Stadia they have given me 38 games for zero extra cost, plus a $10 credit to use against a purchase. Are all of the games great? No. But a sufficient number are good enough to capture my attention and justify the monthly subscription. I'm quite happy with the value of the service and in truth don't think I need nor look to get any special reward(s). But, ff folks think Google ought to do something special for its subscribers I should think it should only be for those who are  Founders subscribers that endured their original tortured roll out and who have remained loyal since then. Having dutifully paid my monthly dues since Stadia arrived I don't think those who have been members for less time should be rewarded for loyalty in the same manner  as those of us who have stuck with Stadia from the beginning.

Wow! Tobonaut you are the guy. Tried your solution and it worked. Not only just a work around. After zooming and then closing and reopening Stadia, the text size appears to be retained at the last size. Thanks so much for your answer. It is a pretty simple solution, but for the life of me I never thought of it.

If you have a Pro subscription you can claim several free games each month. As long as you continue your subscription those games remain free to access. If you drop the subscription then you lose the free games. You can always buy games, most with discounts, which you will always own regardless of your subscription status. Are the free games worth the subscription? Some are good, some are so so. I think as the library of free games expands over time there will be a sufficient selection, along with the discounts offered on purchased games, to justify the subscription.

I have been suffering with an issue for several months now. The text size for menus, etc. on the main/home Stadia screen running in Chrome browser is so tiny as to be almost impossible to read as well as to to select options, settings etc. The images below illustrate the text visual appearance I see when I bring up Stadia in Chrome. Yes, that is real the size. Any ideas/suggestions/fixes would be greatly appreciated.

For some reason the Stadia webpage fonts for Home and Store have suddenly become so tiny that it is almost impossible to read them; plus the game thumbnails have been resized to a fraction of the size they used to be. Game screens seem fine... just the main screens/web page for Stadia. Ideas?

I am well aware of how the system works. My comments were meant to be sarcastic/mocking of Google's ability to process orders, ship  a box, charge customers' accounts, and deliver email updates on the order; but apparently couldn't deliver the one critical piece of the product, the access codes, that make the product of any value or benefit. Just thought it was quite funny they could encourage me to enjoy Stadia. I have not enjoyed Stadia. It's not possible without the access code. Google has had since June, when they started taking orders for the founders' edition, to make 100% sure their delivery system was in order. FUBAR. They totally screwed this up. For a company the size of Google, a that is totally engaged in digital/electronic technologies, claims to be a world leader,  to have screwed up this launch is simply inexcusable. What did they do? Outsource this project to some third world IT interns?   Reach out to Stadia Support? Seriously? I have far better things to do than sit around waiting for who knows how long on chat connection or waiting for a call back to address this access code issue. The wait queue for support reported yesterday number in the hundreds. What a fiasco.

RFLMAO. I'm going to sign into chat, get in the queue, set up an Alexa alert to wake me up when somebody answers, and then go to bed. I would use Google Home to set that alert but I suspect Google Home has already been been configured on their server to cancel Stadia chat requests. How many thousands in the queue now? FUBAR.

I just got an email from Google to wit: "Your shipment was just dropped off. Go on. Open it and enjoy." Yeah, are they working overtime rubbing salt into wounds now? How is it they can send me an email 12 hours after I got my founder's bundle confirming it was delivered and encourage me to open it and have fun, yet they can't send me an email with the access code needed to activate it? FUBAR.

So what is Google going to do for all the Stadia Pro founders who don't have their hardware and or their access codes by then? Google has created a massive amount of ill will with their botched launch and now suggest to pile up some more with Black Friday deals that one suspects many won't perhaps be able to avail themselves of. Even more infuriating is that they locked the BlacK Friday Deals announcement thread for comment. Arrogant, cheekiness on the part of Google. Default on their original sales promises/representations and then dangle extra insults to those they have screwed so far.

Do you mean keep the controller and Chrome Ultra? What good would a controller be without the service? I agree that Google needs to address their FUBAR launch and FUBAR support response on the access codes delivery and its obvious violation of  first ordered first delivered promises beyond apologies and vague new delivery dates.  What should they do? Not sure but something. Maybe extra free months  when somebody actually gets access. Maybe substantial discounts on games or free ones. Don't know how they can address the reality that a lot of founders are not going to get their desired names. Extremely disappointed with this rollout. I am waiting a day or so and will send mine back for a refund if the access codes doesn't show by weekend and if I don't get to secure my preferred name.
