"This is a perk for Stadia Pro subscribers" Actually it's bloody well free on PC, you know, the platform that actually does not charge for a trial. Stadia BLOWS for this very reason.

Far Cry 5 free play NOT. Pro subscription required at cost.  On PC you simply download and play at no charge at all. Stadia is bad enough in comparison to most other platforms with so few AAA games, as well as them typically being more expensive: now we have to pay to play free trials too? Stadia blows.

Seeing as the controller was USB connected to my PC Web browser, it's unlikely the Stadia controller is lagging. However, it could be lagging via Bluetooth to Chromecast. Regardless, as mentioned, for me the Stadia controller on both Chromecast and Web browser - Stadia are both problematic.
A perfect example here of why charging $10 for 4K ability is literally robbing people of their money.

Hi there, So here are the results of your request: 1. Connecting my generic (cheap) controller to Stadia on the Web on my PC led to similar results using the Stadia controller connected through Chromecast on my TV: poor quality. Lag. Strange gravity. Inaccurate. 2. Connecting my Stadia controller via USB cable to my PC, Web Stadia - as above. 3. Connecting my Stadia controller via USB cable to my PC and the Windows version of R6Siege via XOutput (required to run Stadia controller for non-Stadia games) either as good as my generic controller, or possibly better! Result: Stadia controller works well via XOutput and USB cable for non-Stadia games. Unfortunately, it is very clear that the Stadia version of Siege both Web browser and via Chromecast to TV is low quality. It is a Stadia game version problem that requires better tuning.

I've been using a generic, cheap controller on PC playing Siege the past month, and an average match I range from the lowest to best/MVP even against M/KBD players. I bought the Stadia version two days ago and have put in about 5 hours using the Stadia controller. No matter what options I choose, fiddling around with the settings, I cannot find anything acceptable, either too slow, too fast, dragging, weird gravity feeling... I am consistently the LVP, Least Valuable Player. In a nutshell, I play well with a cheap controller on PC, but Stadia to Chromecast on my TV: the official Stadia controller is sucking badly and clearly detrimental to play. Anyone able to share their controller settings?

Need to know: I already have it on PC, so if I buy this, will the Operators I don't have on PC now be populated with the ones I buy through Stadia, and vice versa - will the ones I own on PC show up my Stadia account roster? Otherwise there is no point in buying the Stadia version. Got it: Yes, there is: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-au/help/article/cross-play-and-cross-progression-features-in-ubisoft-games/000061177

Here is the greatest Stadia problem: we keep getting mostly old games resold at a higher price, with only a minimal amount of brand new games, in particular AAA. Not getting Mass Effect while every other platform does, is consistently worrying for Stadia: too few publishers care for Stadia.
https://techraptor.net/gaming/features/google-stadia-decline Google need to step forward and be transparent with its consumers. How solid is Stadia's future? Give us a solid roadmap.

1. If you're mentioning latency: it means Stadia has a problem = a minus point.  2. If all players on Stadia experience the same latency issue, it's hardly a problem. 3. Only highly competitive players care so dearly about latency: I do not. 4. AAA shooters are what bring in the real money: Stadia does not. Stadia hardly advertises for anyone. Stadia is tertiary to even mobile gaming. 5. Putting 4K behind a paywall only further exacerbates Stadia's problem. Total lack of players, and having to pay for something cannot be helping any of us. 6. Staff leaving other studios is hardly an issue because those companies are MASSIVE in comparison to Stadia that clearly so few people care about. Leaving a relatively uninteresting platform only further adds to Google's problem running this. 7. Whether you enjoy Stadia or not is irrelevant. It's whether millions enjoy it or not that counts for longevity, support etc. 8. Asking me to buy an XBox or PS5 etc. to play high profile games further tells us that Stadia is a secondary or tertiary device to buy = less relevant platform = negative for the ones investing in it.

It is SO obvious how so little attention is given to Stadia. So few AAA games: not a single top10 multiplayer game except PubG that requires bots to fill matches. Multiplayer on Stadia is a joke: empty rooms, yet still selling add-ons to games you can't play for a complete lack of players - is this legal?! We got a AAA game for free, that's something, but does it bring more players? No way. They will pay $10 Pro to play it, then leave as there is so little else to do. Stadia is clearly a more budget game, single player experience. Staff are leaving Google's Stadia: who wouldn't? The future of it is grim at best.

Asinine response. In the end, it's you who suffers for a COMPLETE LACK of games available, as well as far higher prices for games such as Ass Creed recently put up on Stadia at triple the cost on any other platform. You want Stadia to become popular, you had better drop the protective act.
Try to imagine? I could imagine my mobile phone a console too, but it's far from that, as is Stadia. Stadia uses PC games on a server which we stream. That is PC gaming.
Absolutely true. They are hardly trying to get new players let alone keep them, especially Pro subscribers.

... its player-base, why not allow games owned on PC playable on Stadia? I rarely buy games, I simply cannot afford to waste money on frivolous things as I have a family to support, but need something fun so I accept the occasional game purchase. Now Ghost Recon Breakpoint has come to Stadia at full price, that I already paid. I should pay again? It is a PC game Stadia is running, not something exclusive like consoles. At most they are making modifications to enable a PC game be played on Stadia. With such a low player-base, why charge for a game already owned? In the very least offer a discount to those already owning a game. I have Stadia, the controller, yes, but my PC gets used far more often, thanks to Google for overcharging for old games, or charging for owned PC games, or a complete lack of games on offer.
