Ok, I found something that might be useful for others. Stadia is actually a video stream. What helped me to make the image more clear and crisp, was to properly set the Gamma, saturation, contrast, and brightness through the special Video color settings of the Nvidia panel. Another important setting is to set the Dynamic range to maximum. Here some screens of the menus and where to find them: Contrast, saturation and brightness Dynamic range

It Is an Rtx 2060. Yes I've checked via the chrome settings/stats, and it is capable of decoding vp9. I've also forced the 4k via the enhancer plugin, but it doesn't help. My network relies on a optic fiber (same for pc and tv), that's not the problem. As reported in my first message, it seems that the stream sent to the Chrome stadia app, is compressed in a different way.  When using chrome (or any other browser) the resolution is ok, but I see some artifacts...compression artifacts and a  blurry color. When using the CCU, the image is just perfect. Cristal clear, no artifacts or compression issues.

Is that possible that Stadia on PC runs worse than on CCU and Stadia uses different streams? I've been playing Cyberpunk and Watch Dog legion on both TV and my PC. In my TV (LG 65" HDR 4k). On my TV they run just perfect. Crispy image, smooth motion, it seems to be running a 4k native resolution. Absolutely astonishing and perfect, I'm very satisfied with how they run. Good job Stadia team! When, however, I run stadia on my pc (on a 2k monitor) the image quality is much worse. It is definitely less crisp and it seems to be running in a lower resolution. Even using some technique to force the 4k stream (like the stadia enhancer plugin for Chrome), has no benefit. I've also tried some other suggested solutions (like disabling the hardware acceleration, running Edge, running incognito mode, and so on...), but no difference at all. So the question... is that possible that the Stadia service applies different compression quality for video stream sent to the CCU and the one sent to the Chrome browser? If so, at least I would have some peace of mind and stop trying to find a solution that cannot be applied! Thanks!
Thank you, it is very interesting!
Ok, I'll do that!

Cool... but from my point of view sounds more like a bug than a feature to not know what actually happens   I really appreciate having at 0 costs a hardware upgrade... but I would like to know before switching to a PS5 if there is any plan to have an actual upgrade. It would help me to properly plan my purchases.

Hello everyone, I'm new to the Stadia service, and I must say I'm very impressed. As happened to many users, I started using this service to play in a decent way Cyberpunk 2077.  My original plan was to purchase a PS5 that, however, was impossible to find during the holidays. Not bad... this gave me the chance to try Stadia service I must say I was impressed, Cyberpunk runs incredibly well and I already purchased another game (Watchdog legion, for which I'm, however, experiencing some frame rate drops... I hope they fix it) and subscribed to the pro plan. I was seriously thinking to continue using the pro service and switch to the Stadia service, but despite it seems to have the same computational power of next-gen console (~11TFlop) and the support for the 4k (an aspect that I appreciate, and other services like GeforceNow doesn't offer), it surely doesn't have the same graphic performance: for example, it doesn't have the raytracing support at all. This makes me still prefer to purchase a PS5 and play on it instead to completely switch to the Stadia service. I think that this could be a very profitable period to bring new users for Google before the PS5 will be easily purchasable in stores. Is there any plan for the hardware/performance upgrade of the service? is there any sort of roadmap? Where I can find it? Thank you.

Hello everyone, I'm experiencing a frame drop issue playing watch dogs legion on 4k resolution. I've purchased the game a few days ago,  and in each game session, randomly, the framerate drops at something like 5 fps for several minutes. Sometimes just waiting or moving around the issues goes away, other times, however, I have to quit. The issue happens even after a few minutes of gameplay. I have an optic fiber, and I'm also playing Cyberpunk on stadia, and for that, I have no issue. Did you experience such an issue? Is there anything I can do to avoid that? because it is quite annoying preventing me to play the game I've purchased.
