No you are not alone in this problem. I have 1 gigabit fiber with local speed tests in the 300 to 400 mbs on a busy day. However when I do a trace route to the stadia servers, my latency and ping times increase dramatically once I hit the stadia servers. The unstable connection has nothing to do with my local network or my ISP, it is sitting directly in Goggle's Stadia servers. They apparently do not have the necessary bandwidth to handle the players of stadia during peak hours. If I try to play outside peaks hours (any time outside of the 6 pm, to midnight time frame) I have an excellent connection and flawless play time without making any changes. As soon as peak hours hit, I get kicked off for unstable connection. The thing that pisses me off the most is Goggle's lack of honestly addressing the situation by bringing more servers online to handle then load and segmenting the connections so that the bandwidth can be handled at their server farms. I am a founding member of Stadia, but honestly I am looking at purchasing the games I want to play, and dumping Stadia. I'm about out of patience on this issue, I keep hoping that Goggle will fix this, but I'm starting to have my doubts they are even interested in tackling the problem since they do not even provide feedback nor reporting ability on this issue. On previous online services I belonged to, you were provided with a route configuration utility that allowed you to set your routing to the server with the least lag for your region. It work remarkably well, and if your connection became congested you could rerun the utility and reconfigure your connection again. It kept the service running and allowed users to correct their own issues instead of only being able to stare into a faulty server that you can do nothing about. Stadia trace route
