@emondelog  Unfortunately these kinds of promotions always leave a few folks out in the cold.

@Nefastwo  That is normal.  You only get charged after 2 months.  But if you only want the free trial then cancel immediately after joining and you get to enjoy the free trial and no charge at the end of the trial period. That's why it says on the opening screen... " $9.99/mo after trial, cancel anytime."

@Shawn  To use multiple controllers on a CCU then you have to have multiple Stadia controllers, as the Chromecast Ultra only supports Stadia controllers.

@Shadowdarck  In this instance you can't.  It is only a benefit to those that have joined Stadia Pro after the title was removed from the list of available Pro games that can be claimed.  So for those that were earlier adopters of Stadia who were able to claim the title this is business as usual if you've got your subscription active.  For those users that joined the party later and have fewer claimed titles available then they can reap the benefit of the discounted purchase price as they are not able to claim the title. But the scenario for those that have claimed a title and wish to purchase a title are excluded from this equation as it is not yet (no idea if it will be) supported to purchase titles that have been claimed and have an active pro subscription.

@Manus  You are a corner case, there cannot be that many founders that have sat on their box since the original shipment of boxes back in November 2019.  We are now in April 2020 is it really that much of a surprise? Did Google intentionally go out of their way to annoy founders that haven't used their kit for over 1/4 of a year?  I suspect not. You can still reach out to Google support and see if they are willing to do something, if they come back and say no, well move on.  If they say yes, then great.

@Bodgerator  I think you are mixing up different technologies.  Opening ports vs port forwarding.   If you want multiple devices to have access to these ports then you need to ensure that the ports are open on your firewall/vpn etc.  To recap on this as per the troubleshooting section, they are not referring to port forwarding. Make sure that your firewall or VPN rules do not restrict traffic on ports in the range 44700–44899 (TCP and UDP). These are required ports for playing games on Stadia.  Note : This range might change in the future.

@rottenjorge @iceshot  As per the blog... "...Video games can be a valuable way to socialize with friends and family when you’re stuck at home, so we’re giving gamers in 14 countries free access to Stadia Pro for two months. This is starting today and rolling out over the next 48 hours." If you’re new, playing on Stadia is simple:  Go to   Stadia.com   to sign up Download the Stadia app on Android or iOS Play on your laptop, desktop or Chrome OS tablet with your favorite (HID compliant) USB supported   controller or mouse and keyboard Play over Wi-Fi on Pixel or many   supported Android phones  So if you've followed the instructions and it isn't an option for you yet, then obviously it hasn't been rolled out in your region yet, and so you will need to try again later until the roll-out reaches your location.
https://blog.google/products/stadia/try-stadia-free-today/  Also, the resolution is changing from 4K to a default of 1080, however that can still be adjusted via the app.  So not an issue.

@ARGAH  Just saw an announcement from Phil Harrison that Google is giving free access to Stadia Pro for the next 2 months.  Anyone that signs up will get 2 months free, and if you are already subscribed then you won't get a bill for 2 months either.  That probably explains your situation. https://blog.google/products/stadia/try-stadia-free-today/

@FoxlukeITA  Yes it is a common issue, sounds like Ubisoft are doing some server maintenance and forgot to actually tell anyone!  Their website clearly says that servers are available when they aren't, so probably an unplanned outage.  Give it a while and check later to see if they have resolved their issue. I raised the issue with Ubisoft support to see if they have any details of the outage, they tried to farm me off with some scheduled maintenance nonsense but then realised that that maintenance window they were looking at has been and gone; so they are still looking into what the issue might be.  Quality level 1 support from Ubisoft.... Currently Ubisoft are saying that they have it under investigation with their dedicated team and it may be either an issue on their side or on the Stadia side.  Apparently it came to light shortly after a scheduled maintenance window, so sounds like something got broken. Keep an eye out on the Trials Rising forum: https://forums.ubisoft.com/forumdisplay.php/1874-TRIALS-RISING  and hopefully services will be fixed soon.

@ARGAH  Odd, maybe that is something new? I was under the impression that if you had a 3 month trial period your credit card would have been charged at the end of that 3 month period unless you had cancelled your subscription prior to the end of the trial period.  If you are still getting access after the end of your trial period I'd certainly check your credit card statement to see if that has been charged as I really would have expected the service to have stopped by now if that wasn't the case.
