@GraceFromGoogle Why is Google choosing to give out games that are already available and sale? YOu had to know many could have bought them because of the limited number of games available. Why did you not give out a new game to the service that was not there? How and when will you add more/new games? Why are free games old or too niche? COme to one Tomb Raider is from 2013 and Farmin Sim is niche. There is Gylt which is exclusive, there is Gris which has a mode exclusive to Stadia?  Why is Google not doing better with communication, quality or performance of the service. Once the other players come with their own streaming Stadia will be dead in the water.

@Turtle  I got into Stadia mainly because of Destiny 2. I play that game a lot and having it on the go while also having the newer content was the right choice at the time for me. But I was misinformed, Google kept hyping up Destiny 2 The Collection so much I sincerely thoughtit would be a game you got to own. Like all games are free to claim but we got Destiny 2 as our game forever for being part of the Founder beta. I was quickly disappointed to find out this is not true and to not find any info or messaging around the F2P version.  Gaming on the go was still a good thing to have but Destiny 2 performs so bad I cannot bring myself to continue. I'd rather have it on Switch if it is going to look this bad. I want 4k/60 fps at least High settings because that is what Google promised us, but did not deliver because of technicalities that make so that they did not lie entirely about this point.  Do I think we'll get there? Not really and not very close by the end of the Founders period. I already went through the disappointment of early PSN and XBL so there are zero excuses to have it here IMO. There are so many better games, one that is exclusive (Gylt) and one that has an exclusive Stadia mode(Grid). There is also some other adventures game but they decided to give us the lower denominator here and the oldest game that is there. They could've easily done so much better if they cared and I think they do not care at all.  Right now the promise of portability you speak of is not there. It does not play well in the browser or in mobile devices that are not from Google at all. Another gatekeeping tactic that makes no sense for a new service you want to do good. They also do not have a lot of the features they promised active. Your response seems genuine but even then you mention things that are not really really like the ease of portability. There are so many other fake-sounding comments with what sincerely seems to me fake enthusiasm and any comment of criticism I have seen have been criticized with a version of "be grateful it is free" which I disagree with.  Right now these services needs a lot of work and downvoting or not being open to criticism is just baffling to me. So much positivity seems truly fake to me or makes me think most of the people playing are casual gamers that do not own any console.  Google has so much work to do and they do not seem to care or acknowledge any of the issues they've run into. They've yet to even properly acknowledge the issue with the launch. YOu look at almost any gamin company going through an issue like this or server issues and you'll see a "This is where we are at and what we are doing to improve" even if it is not honest all usually do that, but not Google.  I am so disappointed because the most important part of the service, the streaming, works perfectly, but they are handling everything else in such a bad way I just don't see this platform succeeding. We are about a year away from the next-gen on console gaming and right now the xCloud preview, which is free, is a lot better in every way you mention that Stadia. Once that is  out for  everyone else Stadia could be dead in the water, that without counting what Sony or others may do.

@Chufu  I cannot believe how people are replying basically making **bleep**ty excuses for Google when it is SO easy to solve. Google KNOWS everyone playing right now is a Founder or Premiere. They CAN give out games that are not there already, just add a new game for the month making sure it is not one of the very few that is there, but they don't. They are counting on people buying games they will give for free. I think they also count on people replying to you to suck it up and to be grateful because you get to keep the game to play it again whenever you want, even if the sub expires, even when you won't ever play them again. This is just another in a long line of poorly thought out plans for Stadia by Google. We paid for a beta, with very limited games that do not perform as promised but they get away with it because of a technicality.  4k is not real You can't properly play on all platforms they mentioned Game sharing is not real  Destiny 2 runs at medium Tomb Raider is a 2013 game that was on sale already   There is so much wrong with Stadia and so many in this community or in the subreddit just defending them wth "WE are lucky it is free" but we paid them for this. We paid them $130 for a beta that is free elsewhere. We should expect and ask them to do better. This is a Google problem, just like the game performance, they've just washed their hands from and dropped it on our lap.

@Siej  I agree with you 100%. The games they have provided are just crap. The service is crap too. They are doing the bare minimum to get away with money and not have to deliver good content. Destiny 2 was teased to be a free game you own, not rent, but the fine print says otherwise and they have no version for you to be. Right now if you want to continue playing this F2P game you will have to pay a sub They have a very limited library at prices that are high and just gave out a game from that library. Giving out old (2013) or very niche game(farming sim) Not keeping the promises of visuals: Upscaled 4k, medium settings.  Maybe scammed is a strong word but Google is definitely taking advantage of the situation and doing the bare minimum to make up for their issues. The worst thing is that a lot of this board and the sub are so pro Google they will take anything with a smile. Imagine being happy about getting Tomb Raider when they could've given us any of the sequels, Rage 2, Wolfenstein, maybe even Gylt or Grid Google should communicate their plans with Destiny and give out the F2P version or make the Collection free. They need to improve and keep promises of 4l/60fps at high or better settings.  @Chufu Was this information there since day 1? I have to admit like OP I may have only listened to their marketing. I myself tought you got to keep Destiny 2 the Collection as they teased and hyped it up to be their main game, but in the end, it is just a rental. It doesn't even have a price to buy but I bet it is over 79.99 seeing how scummy their pricing is. And the December games are **bleep**. The bare minimum or the **bleep**tiest games they could've given from their store.   @deprestige  I can't believe this is a real reply here. I guess this **bleep** service is for people that like crap like you. You are making excuses for Google screweingpeople with their Stadia beta...oh but they delivered...They delivered **bleep** you seem to be very happy to own.

I feel like people are posting fake responses here with the extreme positivity. $10 a month would get me a 2013 old game and Farming Simulator on fake 4k? Come on. I just can't. I'll give kudos to Google and team because the streaming works great but the graphics quality of most games is inexcusable and these offerings are worth some criticism.  Being only positive will make them think they are doing great when they are dead last in the gaming scene right now and not doing to leg work to be relevant.

Does Google have a bunch of paid shills around the forum? Everyone calling out the complaining and rooting for these crap announcements. If you haven't owned or played Tomb Raider 2013 in 2019 then you are either a casual or non-gamer or have been out of it for long. This game is free in gamepass and has been given out so many times before. IT is a very good game for sure but no real replayability if you've played it before.  People keep making excuses for Google and why? Why not give out a game that is new to the store instead of something many of the founders could've bought since it is cheaper and there isn't a lot of content? People saying it is good even if you bought it because you get to keep it. This is not a positive when this game is often free on other services as it is very old.  I just can't I get being positive or keeping an open mind but some of you are just too much. This is a crap offering for December after a terrible launch last week and the terrible performance of DEstiny 2 and RDR2 that can't even keep up with consoles on the visuals.

They should've given a game that is not in the store. A game that is out "new" in the store. This is such crap.    @Jesdude are you for real? Destiny 2 is F2P, Tomb Raider is an old 2013 game that has been given out for free in every service available at this point. The other two are ok I guess. This seems like bad value for even $20 when we have so many other services that have so much more. Game pass has this game and hundreds more and it is $3 for 3 months   They need to do a lot better. Either you are totally new to gaming or I am not sure what value you see that i am not.

Great news?! is anyone kidding? Farm Simulator is ok I guess, but not my cup of tea, but Tomb Raider is a 2013 game.  Destiny looks like crap and we don't "keep" it at all for being Founder's and now in month 2 we get an old 2013 game?  I really thought Gylt, or maybe Grid with the Stadia exclusive mode would be given out even if only just 1 game. Or maybe throw in some new games since with so few in the store the Founders could've bought the ones in the store currently.  This continues to be so disappointing. If Destiny is fixed and performs as promised without any tricks I might stick around and I hope Google makes amends for the crap launch and all issues. If not I am happily out after month 3 as this is just going nowhere for now. Shame since the service does work.

@Visionary Nope it shows up as a claim game and doesn't even have a price to purchase even if I wanted to. Everyone is saying that since it is like that then I would lose access if I do not keep paying so it makes it a subscription game. I am so disappointed and would wish for a real answer instead of silence. In any case, after all the mess they should let us keep it in goodwill but we'll see. I also thought, like with many other launches, that this was a pack-in game you got to keep.

I just got off the phone with Google Support. No new info or nothing more than the approved PR messaging. I did ask him about the ownership of Destiny 2. Is asked the repo since I purchased the Founder's Edition if the Destiny 2 version would count as a purchase I would be able to play even without Pro in the future and he confirmed "yes"   since it was part of the purchase of the Founder's Edition you will be able to play when the normal service comes out. That they will communicate more info about that service in the future. @GraceFromGoogle Please confirm this is true at least. Seems the Founder's Edition has even less value if we are paying $130 for a rental.

@GraceFromGoogle CAn you provide us a real update on the July Founders? People that have ordered the premiere edition have gotten codes apparently but not Founders. The last update was a pointless one as it only came after every June user had them so they didn't care. Please provide a real ETA on when I am getting my code as I 've had this box here for a while now. PLEASE PLEASE respond and don't ignore it as you've done again and again. On twitter, on reddit , here and even on your Google support lines. Please be honest and gives us an ETA. If you said "we expect them to be sent by this afternoon" I wouldn't have to waste my time trying pointlessly contact google.
We are doomed. All the June people gotbthwir code so the fuzz has died down and Google doesn't care. This is the worst gaming launch ever.
So not concrete info on the rest of the codes...is there a chance for tonight? Should I stay up? Is it pointless? @grace
@2swizzle I also got that  email this morning and teied it out. It was great. I feel like it is a sign I should return Stadia after all this mess.

@steveb Usually IT incidents like this that get solved quickly happen for organizations that have bigger or more private customers. Since Google knows we are consumers they don't care and have no integrity about the process. They won't be liable, they won't lose a customer since we already paid, they just think we are a stupid consumer and they can easily lie to.

It is very clear that they are not shipping or sending codes in the order they were purchased.  And instead of handling the issue by just sending everything out or going from where they are trying to do the stupid thing of trying to get back into the order most likely causing bigger delays. The handling of this launch has been one of the worst things I've seen in software since I've worked in supporting it. Someone might get fired over this one for sure.

Hopefully, I get the code in 5-10 minutes after this post right? Seems to be the case with some here? I work in software support and this is really not the way to handle a situation like this one unless you are lying and want to hide information from the users. No incident management, no urgency, no "all hands on decks" process for resolution. If that was the case the emails would've been sent out or at least concrete communication on a real timeline. No integrity or accountability from a company as big and successful as Google is just pathetic.  Please send me the code I paid and was charged for 2 days before launch, 1 day before you shipped.
