I bought Tokyo Olympics before the free play. I have family sharing on. My brother(Pro Subscriber) couldn't play with me. Kept saying that there was already an instance of the game running (me).  Had to turn family sharing off and finally my brother was able to use the Play for free button on the App. I'm guessing we would have to do the same on any other free weekend if one of us already owns it. Both of us use a Stadia Controller and the CCU.

I was playing and went to the save point in the castle. Saved game and wanted to see how much charge my controller had left. Pressed the Stadia button but no extended menu. The weird thing was, it still worked but no visual menu. Shutting down Stadia worked by pressing down twice from memory and pressing A. Long pressing also shut the controller down. Quit the game using RE Village menu option "quit game". The game quit and went to a blank screen. No Stadia User Interface. It was there but no visual UI. I was able to choose a game blindly or launch from my phone no problem. Only thing that brought back my Stadia UI was rebooting the Chromecast Ultra from my Home app. All is well now.

I was a little worried when I purchased Village and it looked terrible. Like a bad VHS recording. Complete with static on the screen like the tracking needed adjusted. Turned off HDR and then turned off Stadia. Restarted Village. Looked good but not HDR good. Put HDR back on. Shut it all down. Turned it back on and all was well. HDR Village looks amazing.
Just picked up Division 2 and the Warlords expansion. So far it's been fun. The coop and match making is quick and easy. Haven't tried PvP yet. Usually only have time to play on the weekends. TwoDog... See more...

Only ever happened when playing Odyssey. Two seperate occasions. Both times was when entering Greater Athens in Attika. Really bad 8-bit looking textures and really bad warping followed by the "slow connection" spam. Cleared up quick. Second time no spam, it just dropped me out of game with the sorry, blah blah blah game couldn't start. It's not even that big of a deal or a game breaker for me. Stuff loads sooooo fast on Stadia! @Whito

Played through the demo. At times it seemed sluggish when rushing/running around outside while moving the camera around quickly. Never sluggish enough to make it unplayable. Inside the houses of the village were amazingly fast and looked great. Using Chromecast Ultra, 4k HDR on, 300MBps connection. I've only experienced a couple of slideshows on AC Odyssey since strictly using the CCU and Stadia Controller. Played again with no problems. Made a video but it's very dark.  https://youtu.be/kzSSJzHfSQ4

My plan is unlimited. I don't think I'd be using Stadia if I paid by the gigabyte. Haven't had that many speed hiccups or problems at all really. Couple of crashes, a couple of "slow connection" warnings, but nothing that I'd call a problem. More of my problems happened before I received my CCU and Stadia Controller.
Just a casual gamer and my data usage has doubled since getting Stadia.

I didn't use the DMZ on my router. I have two controllers and added them both to managed devices. Then I added them as a trusted PC using the controllers IPv4 address. Loaded up Destiny 2 and so far no more corrupted audio when plugging/unplugging my headset. Seems to be ok now. I will keep trying to recreate the sound issue with both controllers and different games. Not sure if my router will allow multiple DMZ's and I'm hoping to not have to. All in all not a game breaker. So quick to load anything, i

I get corrupted audio if I plug my headset in after Stadia is already running a game. Sounds are distorted and even missing.  Goes back to normal if I unplug the headset. I have to shut down Stadia and restart it with the headset plugged in and then they work fine. Weird I can't just plug and play with my headset.
Gaming for fun, not for fame! TwoDogs#8151

Try using Chrome Canary browser when playing on your PC/Laptop. Way better whenever I don't have access to my Chromecast and TV but still want to game. I would barely get 12 MB per sec on my 300+ ISP when using regular Chrome. As soon as I switched to Canary my speeds jumped up to 300+ MB per second like it should be.
Wired laptop connected with 300mbps ISP and was barely getting 10mbps with Chrome browser. After installing Chrome Canary my speed jumped up to over 300mbps.

If you are playing Stadia using Chrome browser I suggest you use the Canary version of Chrome browser. I was getting the same warning using regular Chrome browser, no extensions. Barely getting the 10mbps minimum at times. Used Canary version and my speed jumped to over 300mbps. (Laptop connected with ethernet cable /w 300mbps internet service)

Runs and looks great for me on the Chromecast Ultra. If you play using Chrome browser, I suggest installing the Canary version with no extensions. No 4k support through the browser, but at least the speed to Google servers is way better than standard Chrome browser.
