Any news? My friend with P20lite and Oreo was able to install the app from the store. It cannot be due to the ban on Huawei. All those devices (including P9 lite) came before the ban and google services are supported. I am wondering if it is not a problem of Android version. Has anyone on this forum been able to install stadia on nougat on other devices? For the time being, I have installed an unofficial ROM with Android 10 on a much older phone (galaxy S4 Mini) and I was able to install Stadia on it. The problem is that the phone is not very powerful and the app is laggy so I am just using it for configuring the controller. Has the problem been reported to Stadia developers?
Solved with preview firmware. See comments below...

Is it a joke? For the second time the stadia support team has proposed me a replacement which I have again refused because I was convinced it was a software related issue. I am a bit disappointed about google organization. The support and the R&D team do not seem to communicate well. I have asked them to get in touch with the developers and they told me it is not possible but rather suggested me to send feedbacks through the app. I spent 1hour this evening to disturb once more the AVM support team while they should have known that the developers were already working on that. I have just followed your procedure and force reboot by clicking on the dots icon under device settings and received the 1.50 version of the firmware which indeed solves the problem. Thanks for sharing this information!
Hi, have you received an answer from AVM?

I did a test with another router from a different manufacturer and the problem is solved. No crackling audio on the headphone anymore. It does not mean that it has to be solved by AVM because the problem seems to also affect other users without a Fritzbox. Stadia developers should have a look and check why the problem occurs on a certain hardware and when CCU and gamepad are not connected in the same way  to the router.  By putting the Fritzbox back in place the problem has showed up again.

I have almost the same hardware as you (fb 7590) and arrived exactly to the same conclusion. Is the connection of the chromecast via ethernet cable that causes the problem.

It is marked as solved how did you solve it? I have received the premier edition yesterday and noticed the problem right away. After the tests made together with the support team, they have opened an RMA. From what I have been reading around it has not been really useful for everybody. I kept testing it on my own and perhaps I have found out the origin of the problem. At least something that has worked for me. Could you please make a test on your side and let me know the outcome? I have already send an email to the stadia support team, let us see if they are able to solve the problem without replacing the all thing. The problem in my case does not seem to come from the controller at all. If the controller is connected to the chromecast ultra via wifi and the connection of chromecast ultra is made via ethernet cable then the audio through the headphones is crackling. If I disconnect the headphones the audio through the speaker of the TV gets back to normal. Now if I unplug the ethernet cable from the original power supply that came with the stadia premier edition and set up the chromecast ultra to use wifi via google home app then the issue with the headphones is gone. So, in case you are experiencing the same issue with headphones and your chromecast ultra is connected via an ethernet cable, unplug it and see if that works for you.  If yes please report it here and perhaps contact the customer service as well.
