Yes, I have connected my CCU to my AVR and 5.1 sound works fine there. But it would be nice to be able to use the Stadia app on my livingroom TV and use the CCU for example for my bedroom TV. Also I have the feeling (but I can't really proove it), that the CCU has slight more delay (or lag?) than using Stadia on my PC (in Chrome, Windows 10) and also more delay than the app on my TV. The delay seems not to be a problem of the AVR, as it also occours when connecting my CCU directly to the TV. Also my PS4 does not show any delay and is also connected to the AVR. My CCU is connected via ethnernet-poweradaptor to the same network my PC or TV is connected to.

Thanks for your elaborated explanation. My TV supports eARC and is connected via HDMI to my Denon AVC-X3700H wich is a AVR from the newest generation. Also the Kodi app and VLC Player app on the TV seem to be able to passthrough audio signals directly to the AVR, so I think technically the TV should be able to passthrough the PCM via eARC. It just seems like the app does not recognize the TV device that is able to receive 5.1 data. This maybe even Sony's fault, as the firmware of the X90H / X900H models is mostly crap. Is there any way to force the app to receive and output 5.1 sound?.

Since the last firmware update for my TV the official Stadia app (downloaded via Google Play Store) on my Sony XH90 / X900H Android TV is finally running smooth and is able to use 4K and HDR. But still I don't get 5.1 sound. It always shows that 5.1 sound is not supported. All other apps on my TV (Netflix, Prime, Disney+...) are able to output 5.1 sound to my AVR. Even when I connect my CCU to the TV i can get 5.1 sound. Anyone else with this problem? Anything I can do to get 5.1 sound?

I can't connect my original Stadia controller anymore to my Chrome-Browser or Stadia Windows App. I switch on the controller It takes a few seconds untill the controller connects to WiFi (white LED blinking) The controller vibrates to show that WiFi connection is up. I put in the connection code. The controller vibrates after the fourth digit, to show it has accepted the code. Nothing happens, no controller is listed in stadia. After a few seconds the controller vibrates again and switches off. So this is not an WiFi connection problem, as I can use the same controller on my Chromecast Ultra and on my phone without problems. Any suggestions how to fix that problem? I also tried resetting the controller (switching on whilst pushing "Y" button --> orange LED --> connect again via Stadia app to my WiFi) but this did not change anything.

Where can I get the Android 10 firmware update for my Sony XH90 (European)? I tried the native Stadia App and it is lagging very much, stuttering and won't offer 5.1 sound. With my CCU connected I get less lag, 60 FPS and 5.1 Sound.
I will try if changing the DNS might help. Problem happens all day, or at least from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. I will check statistics with stadia enhanced. I did not now it has a statistics feature.

I've restarted my complete network components several times. I use a FritzBox 7590 Router, TV, CCU and PC are connected via Gigabit Ethernet Cable, no WiFi. What makes me most angry is, that Stadia has worked before perfectly before. I've played Cyberpunk 2077 for over 80 hours without any problems. The problems started to occur about two weeks ago. I've changed nothing in my network. ISP also checked my connection and could not find any problems. I even resetted my router and configured everything again. Nothing solved the problem.
I've tested Journey to the Savage Planet, Little Nightmares, Cyberpunk 2077, Trials and Jedi Fallen Order so far, but every game has the same problems.

I've changed nothing in my home network in the last few months. Every client I use is connected via ethernet, NOT Wifi. Also contacted my ISP and got my connection checked, but there were no problems found. I also checked the logfiles of my router, and there were also no connection losses or any other problems. Stadia is the only online service which I have problems with. Everything else works fine in 4K (Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Microsoft Teams, Playstation Now...). So in my opinion the problem is clearly Stadia related. Up until a few weeks ago I had no problem with Stadia at all, I just finished Cyberpunk 2077 in 4K without problems for over 80 hours of playing.

Since a few weeks I've got massive problems with the picture quality of my Stadia games. Please check the attached screenshots in fullscreen. I have a stadia pro subscription, but the image quality almost never reaches 4K resolution. It always looks something between 720p and 240p. My internet connection is stable, I have no problems with streaming other content or even Playstation Now. My PC is also pretty capable (Ryzen 3700+, Geforce 1660 Super, 32 GB RAM, SSD, 4K Monitor). My Chromecast Ultra and my PC are connected via ethernet cable, I don't use Wifi for Stadia. This happen to me for every game I play and on every screen (I user my PC with Chrome on a 4K screen and Chromecast Ultra on my 4K TV. When I check my connection in Stadia menu, it always is good and 4K is also active. This is so annoying, that Stadia is nearly unusable, as sometimes I cannot red the texts anymore. I have tried using incognito mode and Edge browser but this didn't help. I tried the Stadia Enhanced plugin to force 4K and VP9, which also did not help. Please help!

I have the same problem since a few.days now. The image quali ty is suddenly getting worse for no apparent reason. The image looks like a 240p video. Sometimes controller response is lagging, too. But sometimes controller response is working without any lag. I am experiencing this problem with Little Nightmares II, Cyberpunk and Journey to the Savage Planet. My PC has quite some power, so I think this shouldn't be a decoding issue: Ryzen 3700+, 1660Ti, 32 GB RAM, SSD.

When using Stadia via Chrome browser on Windows 10, I have the problem that the controller only connects every other time. For example when I start Stadia and repeat the connect-sequence on my controller, the controller rumbles as if it is connected, but the controller is not shown in stadia. White LED on controller is on. I also cannot control anything with it, when I start a game it is only controllable via keyboard/mouse. But strangely, when I close Stadia the controller rumbles and the white LED switches off. After that I open Stadia in Chrome again, start the controller and repeat the connect sequence and the controller is shown in Stadia and can be used without problems. The next time I start Stadia and want to connect the controller, it won't work. After that, it will work again. I don't know why. Any Ideas? Btw: When I connect the controller via USB-C cable it works every time.
OK, I will do so. But will this include only loggings from the Stadia app on my phone or from my chromecast as well? As I have the problem when using Stadia with my chromecast ultra.
