My issue began occurring and a day after Cyberpunk 2077 was released, so on December 11, 2020. It wasn't affecting most people, and the people that were experiencing it seemed to be in specific regions. Like Southern Ontario, Canada (where I live) and I believe people in Utah were also posting about this issue. The issue that I think you're referring happened around early February. It was the same issue but I assume it had started affecting more people and was resolved soon after. I still had Stadia Pro, so I tested to see if the issue was resolved for me too. It was not. It seems like Stadia fixed only fixed the issue people who started experiencing this problem in early February, but not for the people who have been experiencing this issue since December 2020! So I officially gave up. My Pro Subscription expired February 16th, and I decided not to renew it anymore.

Can't believe this is still an issue. I stopped paying for Pro because of this issue. So i haven't been able to check for myself it it's been fixed or not. I submitted my case to Stadia support on this on December 12, 2020. Was told they'd update me when the issue is resolved. They haven't updated me about a resolution to this day. It's funny because I was so excited about getting into Stadia at the beginning. But after experiencing this issue, and seeing Stadia's lack of care for people experiencing this issue like me, they have officially lost me. It really doesn't matter how good Stadia's tech is. If they treat their users like this, then I don't want anything to do with the platform.

Watchdogs Legion is unplayable in 4k or 1440p because of this issue. The Ubisoft Connect trick doesn't seem to work in these resolutions either. The frame drops seem to happen at completely random times too, sometimes it can be within 5 mins, other times it can take up to an hour. If you play the game in 1080p this problem seems to go away. There is still sometimes fps drops during longer play sessions, but the Ubisoft Connect workaround seems to fix it.
I have Pro. I can get 4k just fine in any other game. This is only an issue with Cyberpunk.
Did you have the Reopen game issue and Chromium fixed it? I got excited that this would be a viable workaround for this issue, but sadly it didn't work for me/ It's still telling me to Reopen game

Although this is technically on the publisher's side, I agree that Stadia needs to have better control over their platform. It's not a good look for Stadia when their version of games is running on old patches that way behind other platforms. Stadia needs to make sure that when a publisher signs on to publish their games on Stadia that they aren't allowed to essentially just abandoned them, while other versions are getting regular updates.

It would be nice if our "Community Managers" would actually interact with the community and maybe help us to get this issue looked at. Assure us that their team knows about this problem and are actively working on it. You know, just be a line of communication between the community and the Stadia team. Between all topics made about this issue, there's well over 100 replies, yet we've heard nothing from our Community Managers. Why? Do they even read the forums? If they do they should probably say something, otherwise I don't know what the point of having them is. They just seem to post announcements and that's it. They never seem to actually speak to us or interact with the community directly in any meaningful way

This is my fear. I am now genuinely afraid to purchase and games on launch day through Stadia. I just don't trust them anymore.

Just tell them you did receive a reply from  CD Projekt. When I got a reply they told just me it was a Stadia issue and to contact Stadia support. It's literally the only way to get Stadia support to move on at all and maybe try resolving the issue.
Stadia also works on Microsoft Edge, you can try with that. You can also try downloading Chrome Canary (not sure if it's available for mac OS but you can check).

From my experiencing with talking with Stadia support, if you want to continue pressing them on the issue, I suggest you reply to the email you got from the "specialist". I've gotten answers back within at least 24 hours when replying to directly to the emails. In case you're curious or want to compare our emails btw, i'll paste the reply from their supervisor that I got below.   Hello, Thanks for reaching out to the Google Stadia Customer Care Team. My name is Jackie, one of the supervisors for Stadia - I'm handling your case for the time being. I understand you're having issues playing Cyberpunk on 4k. I think it's also important to note that 1440p doesn't working either! Despite not getting 4k "Reopen game" message It just says 4k is unsupported by device, which is normal for a 1440p stream. But if you actually check the resolution of the stream with an extension like Stadia Enhanced or Stadia+, you will see the stream is actually only running at 1080p. This situation is actually even worse because there is absolutely no indication to the user that they are not getting their 1440p quality stream. This is pretty deceitful, since there are probably a lot of people using 1440p displays that don't know they aren't receiving the quality that they are paying for.

I had the exact same experience with Stadia support 4 days ago. It was pretty much copy and paste what they said to you actually. May I ask where you're located? From information I've gathered from the community, it seems this is a huge problem in Southern Ontario, Canada. However people have also reported experiencing this issue in Colorado and Utah in the US. I live in Canada, and I can confirm from my own personal testing that using a VPN to give me a New York IP will allow me to get 4k on Cyberpunk. This all but confirms to me that it is a localized issue in certain regions, and Stadia has said absolutely nothing about it. That fact that this has been going on for days already without a word from Stadia is absolutely appalling. Not only do they need to say something, they also need to compensate the people who were affected. There are a lot of people who only got Stadia to and Pro to play Cyberpunk 2077, and we have now essentially lost days of value on our pro subscription because this issue.
