So I've been testing cloud gaming platforms for over a month now (trying to choose one that will suit me best - mostly because of Cyberpunk release ;-)). I've watched many comparison videos on YouTube, read this forum, other platform's forums and simply play the platforms and test them by myslef. I've spent quite a few hours trying to figure out issues with macroblocking and banding on all cloud gaming platforms (including Stadia: https://community.stadia.com/t5/Stadia-on-Chrome/Banding-issues-compression-artifacts/m-p/48077#M2993) In my opinion Stadia Community (at least on YouTube channels) is very biased - to the disadvantage of the platform. There're lot of channels and guys who are spreading misleasing information (like "all game are running at 4k/60fps" or "there's no input lag" or "RT is now on Vulkan API, so Stadia has RT"). Two good examples of such videos are: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=62M9RDprctU - this guy presents some conspiracy theories about how Digital Foundry (who I personally really respect for their technical approach, good technical background and unbiased reviews) wants to destroy Stadia platform, that their video is a clickbait (funny that he's saying this in a video "The truth about (...)" - that's a real clickbait title), etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYjTDQzAgYQ - this guy's rant about DF's material is really hilarious. It's so incompetent, non-technical and simply..stupid, that it's really hard to find words..funny thing is that he's accusing DF for not doing proper measuments, not showing the measurment, not using Stadia Controller - but that's exactly what they did https://youtu.be/xuYpFCavVeQ?t=531 - so he probably didn't event watch original video. DF explained many times why are they doing this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvJ3lsFBkcw&t=323s - it is a very good example how "harmful" it can be to the community (in this case Xbox community..) - developer simply fixed all the issues. I really think that if you all Stadia fans what to make the platform better, you should focus on constructive criticism and force Google to fix all the issues. Please put all the "fanboism" aside - it's doing more harm. Sorry for posting these thoughts here, but I'm quite frustraded and almost "allergic" to BS and stupidity... Unfortunatelly all my messages on youtube (where I'm trying to explain why author of given video is wrong) are being blocked - basically you cannot say anyhing "bad" about Stadia, because you're damaging the platform, the community and the whole cloud gaming...
