Wasn't D3 on a bunch of other platforms as well, even Nintendo? I think they would go where the market is, given a sizable playerbase.

This does bring up a little bit of the chicken and egg problem Stadia is kind of in right now: it needs new big games to stay competitive with other gaming systems, but it also has a lot of lapsed gaming users (like me) that are interested in past games that we never got to play. Both issues solve the "needs more games" conundrum but which path to get there can be (and is being) endlessly debated.

Good point. I've been a Founder and Pro subscriber from day 1, it has been $40 paid only for all the stuff we've gotten. I have bought about a dozen games as well (mostly on sale), so it is crazy the amount of value we've already gotten. I agree a coupon for Stadia's 1st birthday would be more than enough.

I think you mean using the controller for regular Android games? It needs to be connected wired to do this, Android OS should recognize the Stadia controller as a normal HID-compliant device.
I was using my Pixel USB-C earbuds just fine over the weekend.

Yeah, it's disappointing for sure. This would have been a day 1 purchase for me but without Stadia yet, no go. They don't get my money (yet...Take that, Google!)
Agreed. Gonna try this over the weekend. Maybe I can actually be a functioning fireteam member in Destiny 2 now (never did voice chat or had a headset, only USB-C headphones).

Late to this party today, where are we seeing "early 2021" for Stadia support on Google TV? I browsed a bit on their store and couldn't find anything related to that. I agree on being disappointed, this new Chromecast was going to be a day 1 purchase for me. I may still pick up the bundle with Netflix just to save some cash,  but without Stadia support it does not get a place behind the TV. Boo urns indeed.

I keep seeing some semblance of this idea around the forum today, it's a little hard to wrap my brain around but it could be a really good idea. Given Stadia can truly be a "free" platform in that all you need is an Internet connection and input control, this is almost a cloud-connected version of gaming around the playground? We used to pass game carts around to our friends, get together and play one with each other in the same room...How can Stadia achieve something like this but (literally) miles apart across the Internet? It could definitely be possible though potentially very complex, I'm excited to think about the possibilities.

I have a pin setup on Chromecast, so when Stadia starts and I select my account it requires a pin to even load up. Did this way back last November with my original Stadia setup so I'm not 100% sure at what point in the process this came up. Possibly linking my Stadia account to the Chromecast? I believe you do this in the app.

Just...wow. I feel sorry for fellow gamers that are in the iron fist of Apple devices, yet another reason I would personally never allow one of their devices in my home. Policies like these continue to be about as anti-consumer as you can get, I'm amazed people continue to stick with them after all these years. Good luck...

Data caps are a scam. Lifting them across the US during stay-at-home orders didn't seem to crush ISP networks even with a greater load. Networks held up fine, so any "fairness" argument for capping usage is garbage. Comcast is evil for sure, I'm sorry for anyone that has to pay more to them. Complain to them, complain to Google, write your congress. In my state we don't have data caps, so I will gobble as much GBs as I can in solidarity for those that are less fortunate.

I guess I could understand "family sharing" to not necessarily mean "games purchased sharing," but then what is the point? Other than Family Link that Google has already enabled for managing child Google accounts, what would enabling a "family group" within Stadia give you currently? As we've discussed in this thread already, sharing one's Pro subscription with family members may not be in the cards given it's quite inexpensive (although there is precedence with existing Google services such as music streaming; sharing the service with others costs more per month). I can't possibly imagine that creating a family group for Stadia accounts isn't going to at least "share" purchased games with other members of our family group, within the confines of parental controls we've already set up (as this already exists with movies, books, etc. if you enable it). Trust me, I'm not fuming at anyone's post or information here, more incredulous at Google for not clarifying this further for us yet, finalized what Family Sharing is going to be for our "early 2020" feature release, and/or...some other third point I can't think of (or am too angry right now) to elucidate. I recognize this is a complicated feature  that potentially touches across the Stadia platform in many ways, but I know for (at least) myself I'm just looking for better clarification for what's going on here.
