In my opinion, the nice thing about Stadia is that it's not an either/or thing (so no Xbox vs. PS kind of thing to get a certain game). If you need a super PC to play a certain title, more power to you! The nice thing is you then have a super PC you can play Stadia games on, too.
Really, the developers of games like this (is it EA?) are only missing out on people like me that don't have the time or resources to have multiple platforms just to get ALL the games; it just means I only play certain games that I have access to. Their loss, really.

If you're talking about the Chrome browser on PC, that would be dependent on the OS you're running. Can you please clarify?
What if you set your Google Pay balance as default? Can you remove the debit card after that? We're getting into stuff a bit beyond Stadia help here, to be honest.
Is your debit card set up as the default payment method at pay.google.com? If so I don't believe you can remove it without setting something else as the default payment method.

I believe @Ivan here is dead on. It's been a number of months since I completed Beyond Light, but you do indeed get rewarded with the pulse rifle afterward. OP might be referring to a weapon shader (or style, dunno what they call it in game) where you can change the look of a weapon from certain perks or bonuses (like purchasing an expansion, pre-order, etc).

It's not unusual. Think of any other gaming platform: Nintendo, Android, Apple, Xbox. There are plenty of cases where a game made for multiple platforms is going to run really well and optimized for some but not others. Certainly the game developer carries most of the burden to make their games run the best on any console they develop for, but the reality is rarely optimal. The platform does have an obligation to carry good games that run well (think Nintendo's old "seal of quality") to give the platform a good reputation. Google and Stadia here obviously hold most of that obligation and I think Google's recent pivot to doing just that will result in good quality experiences overall; the bug in this ointment certainly is the variability of quality Internet connection but that will take time to smooth out (same as when music went streaming online, movies, etc).
Yeah, I have a shiny brand new Chromecast with Google TV waiting to connect up, can't use it for everything yet since I need some Stadia. Until then, it's still the CC Ultra.

It would also help to know if all games you play on Stadia exhibit pixelating or just this one.

Android and Stadia are completely different game platforms, but Google has been big on "containerizing" lots of systems to run on Chrome (i.e. Android and Linux apps). It's probably not technically out of the question to make an Android game run on Stadia, but it would certainly take quite a bit of engineering to make something like that work.

This is vexing. I have almost an exact setup to yours and don't have problems like this at all. I play most of Stadia (and quite a bit of Destiny 2) via CCU over Wi-Fi, actually. The only time I would classify any major streaming issues similar to yours would be when I had a 2nd CCU in the garage but behind our woodstove on the other side of the wall (so concrete board and metal in the way). Once I moved the CCU about six feet over from there, that issue went away. It does almost sound like a regional issue as someone suggested, that somehow Stadia is trying to connect you to servers too far away. Do you report issues with connectivity after trying a game session? I.E. the survey that shows up if you exit the game? (But not close Stadia; it doesn't always show up) I'm sure you probably already tried some of these resources, but it never hurts to look again:
Stadia Help Center: https://support.google.com/stadia/?hl=en#topic=9634925
Official Stadia Troubleshooter: https://support.google.com/stadia/workflow/10017321
If you haven't engaged actual Stadia support, might betime to try that as well: https://support.google.com/stadia/gethelp?authuser=0
