@GoonieLivin What do you mean by 'manually withdrawing the funds'? Your refund will go back to whatever payment method you used for Stadia related purchase. If you used credit card to purchase, then it will go back to the same credit card. There's no way to force it to happen. The team is refunding purchases in waves, so just need to wait if you haven't got yours already.
If you're referring to drawing money from your Google Play balance, then this is not possible.

@Ferrisgrad07 Nobody in here can help you with your request. What is wrong with your back account? If you bought it with a debit card with active account, it will be automatically refunded to that account. If your account is no longer active, you will get an email saying that refund has failed. When you get that email, follow the instructions to specify a new method of payment. If somehow the refund goes to your bank account that's no longer active, reach out to your bank and get help from them.

@BlockChainGG You will get an email that your refund can't be processed. Open that email, and you'll get instruction on how to specify a new payment method to get the refund.
@Sike_Hitman It won't
As far as we know, Stadia is done for good. There's always a chance in the future that Google will try again, but that's mostly wishful thinking at this point.

Then just follow the instruction in the email. I don't think venmo is available though. You'll need debit/credit card, or if you want to get credit for Google Play / Pay.
@Jer1 Unfortunately that's the rule. Your refund will go back to the original method of payment. Maybe you can use it to pay for subscription services from Play Store apps, like Youtube Premium?

@TheMysticArts94 When you said card, is it credit or debit? In theory if they can't refund you to the same card, then they will ask a new payment method. But I've seen weird behavior recently among those that have been refunded. I say monitor your email for further instruction, and also monitor your card / bank balance.

@JAy_Rock At this point it's pretty much a done deal. Stadia is going away in January. What you can do now is explore other options like GeForce Now or Xbox cloud if you want to stay in the cloud, or look to get a gaming computer or console. Make sure to explore cross saves for games that support it, so you can continue your progress for other platform. Several games also support save transfer using Google Takeout. It's a bit of hit or miss but definitely worth a shot.

@xlrr Chromecast Ultra actually exist way before Stadia was born. After Stadia goes away you won't be able to play Stadia games (obviously), but you can still use the device to stream other apps like Netflix or Disney+ to your TV. Your Stadia account is actually attached to your Google account, which you used to set up Chromecast, so not to worry about losing access.
This article would be a good start on how to use Chromecast other than for playing Stadia games

@adamg @_bash_ You will get further instructions in the email to provide a new payment method, if the payment method you used to purchased Stadia games are no longer valid.
