Hey @Zierf, I don't think Google is able to provide a ARN code, but if you really wanted to check, you could contact the Stadia team and see if they have any insight like this. Apart from that I believe the only thing you could offer is the transaction ID, which you mentioned already, starts for most Stadia game purchases with "CDC". So another alternative would be for you to simply wait and see if the refund appears in the next 1-2 weeks or until Jan 18, 2023.

Yeah you're right, it was a nice product, but there's nothing really we can do to keep Stadia up. When Google decides to shut one of their products down, then that's how it goes. Unless you're super rich and could buy the license from Stadia of them, I don't think we can do anything to keep it ^^

Hey @ghostghaff, Since Stadia will be shut down on January 18, 2023, it's possible that you can't see the game anymore because it's not available anymore. If it's an issue with your computer or browser you could easily double check this by open the Stadia app on your mobile device and see if you can find the game there. From how it looks even game trials are not available anymore, so looks like you can only play games from your library atm as far as I could see. Hope this helps.

Hey @Zierf, It's actually normal that the successful refunds are shown as 0,00 in pay.google.com. Before it was showing the charge (the money you paid) and now it's showing 0,00, because you basically have been charged 0,00 for the game. It's weird though that it looks successfully refunded for you there, but you mentioned you haven't received in on your payment method. I agree here with AndroiFy to check first with the bank, maybe they have somehow received your money. Otherwise if the refund fails you would receive an email to provide an alternate payment method (but that email can also take 1-2 weeks). Support you get still get from the Stadia team, but they're super busy right now, so I can't recommend it atm (especially because they'll probably send you also to the bank first to check that). But it's definitely an option to get in touch with them if you still haven't received the refund by the end of Jan 18, 2023.

Hey @Ardennes, No that's normal, it's the same in my account and for other users as well. It states 0,00 EUR in pay.google.com because it calculates the refund in. So basically if you would have looked before the refund was initiated it would state the money you paid for it, but now after the refund has been calculated all those refunds just show 0,00. Can you double check in your emails? The refund amount per game should be listed in each email and shouldn't be zero if you actually paid for the game. Here is an example:

Hey @Idris, Did you buy it through the Google Store? That's a requirement to get the refund. If so, then all you need to do is wait for the email from Google that the refund has failed, but you can also check in the meantime with the bank just in case they have gotten your refund somehow. Hi @sickboy, I don't quite understand what you mean by "I never had it", when you used it to purchase a game you had it back then, no? If you need a hint which payment method it was, you can always doublecheck on pay.google.com. Apart from that the support team was already giving you the right answer, if the refund fails then yes you would receive an email asking you to provide another payment method. So either the email takes very long in your case or you need to double check with the bank here, where the refund went to, because it's possible that they have somehow received the money.

Hey @Krayphsyh, I understand your situation, but unfortunately the Google Play Credit can't be transferred or paid to another payment method. JamesfromGoogle confirmed this also here. Therefore the Google support couldn't help you with it either, otherwise they would have offered you another solution.

Hey @Ardennes, I would recommend you to first check on pay.google.com about the amount you paid for the game. It should state there if you click on the transaction how much you actually paid back then for it (e.g. also if you used a voucher or similar). So that way you can check if there's any reason for the 0,00 EUR refund. Also double check the email you've received as well to see if there was any hint about it. If you can find out that you should receive 50,00 EUR and that's also what you can see on pay.google.com, then it's probably best to wait a bit longer, Google is processing all refunds at the moment. If they fail, you would get an email with instructions on how to provide an alternate payment method. If the refund is successfull, then you can check with the payment method issuer if they have received the money somehow. Hope this helps!

Hey @stuntbelly, Can you see these two games on pay.google.com and can you check there if the status says "refunded"? If not, probably best to wait longer, Google is still not done with all the refunds. You can also double check your emails, maybe these two emails got lost in an email-conversation or got in the spam or similar. If it looks like the refund is done (e.g. if you can see them refunded on pay.google.com) you can also get in touch with the bank to see if they have any idea where the refund went or if they got it. Checking with Stadia support should really be the last option, they are super busy atm and it's not a guarantee they can help you at this point, since refunds are still being processed until Jan 18, 2023.

Hey @Squeak_Easy. did you check already with your bank? If PayPal states they have put the refunds into your bank account, the bank should have received them, maybe worth to poke that way or telling them you want an official dispute to open about it? In my case I got lucky with my PayPal refunds, but you have a lot more PayPal orders, so maybe something went wrong on the end from PayPal to the bank by the sound of it. Just an idea here from me in your particular case.

If not and the refund would fail, then you would get an email from Google with further instructions on how to provide an alternate payment method. I noticed in my particular case btw that the other refund emails I was missing were all together in one email-conversation in Gmail, that's why I didn't spot them in the first place.

Hey @rbmcky, You can check with your bank in this case. If the refund went through successfully even though your payment method is inactive/expired now (refund can still take up 3-5 days, sometimes even longer), then the bank may have received the money. In case the refund is not successful, you would get an email from Google to ask you to provide an alternate payment method. Q: I no longer have the form of payment I used to make the purchase. How will I get a refund? A: In many cases, the banking institution will still accept the refund, and we recommend that you reach out to them to receive your funds. If the banking institution does not accept the refund, we will email you with instructions on the steps you’ll need to take to receive your refund. Source: Stadia Announcement FAQ Hope this helps!

Hey @FarFarAwayShrek, You can first check yourself on pay.google.com if the refunds were actually successful. If they were, but you still haven't received anything, then Google recommends to first get in touch with your bank to see if they somehow got your money. In case the refund is not successful, you would get an email from Google to ask you to provide an alternate payment method. And if the refund just takes very long, but doesn't arrive even though it's shown as refunded, you could also consider getting in touch with the Stadia team, but they are super busy right now, so it's not easy to get through. Technically it would be probably best to wait a bit longer then, because all refunds should be processed by Jan 18, 2023, so you could still give it a week or two more before reaching out to them. More info you can also find in the Stadia Announcement FAQ Hope this helps!

Google mentioned they are aiming to processing all refunds by Jan 18, 2023 so there's still some time left for your games to be refunded. Hardware (Google Store) refunds have not yet begun, so those will definitely start at a later point. With the rest of your purchases as long as they are made in the Stadia Store, you should get a refund for it as per FAQ.

Waiting is probably the best in your case @whoburnthetoast, because if the refund will fail you'll get an email from Google with instructions on how to provide an alternate payment method. Especially since you have confirmed it with the bank as well it sounds like the refunds will fail at the end. I heard from other users it can take up to 2 weeks for the email to arrive, so just be patient and once it arrives provide the new details according to the instructions. Google also mentioned they want to proceed all refunds by Jan 18, 2023, so there's still some time left, so no need to panic.
