Hey @Dr0ctotron, Initially, Google will first try to provide the refund to the payment method that was originally used. If that card is expired by now, then you should receive an email about the failed refund with an option to provide an alternate refund. This can take 2-3 weeks until that email arrives. If you still didn't got anything, you can also get in touch with Stadia support.

I guess you would need to contact Ubisoft Support to see if they have any option to do so (especially when overwriting or adding the save game files to the Steam save files won't work). I remember for AC Odyssey they were also telling me that there is no option to transfer the files from Stadia for example to Steam, but for Valhalla it works, because that game is using Cloud saves. Maybe something changed in the meantime, that's why I suggest you to check again with Ubisoft support.

There's still time until the Stadia shutdown (Jan 18, 2023), so you could just wait a bit longer. Otherwise you could also contact the Stadia team, but not sure if they can be of any assistance at the moment if it comes down still to just waiting a bit longer. But these are all options available.

Hey @99SUPERSTAR, Stadia was nice to use, because you could play your games via Stadia on any device, mobile, chromebook, PC, etc. plus any big patches or something you never had to download, because Stadia was taking care of it, so you could always just login and play directly. But Stadia is shutting down on Jan 18, 2023, so there's anyway not much time for you to try it out. Plus you cannot make any purchases anymore on Stadia, so you can't buy games to try them out anymore. More info you can find here: Stadia Announcement FAQ

I don't think there is an option to transfer games to another person's phone or links. What you can do before Stadia is closing is to download your own data from Stadia though with Google Takeout.

Hey @hardygra, Yes, Google is refunding the following purchases on Stadia: "We will be offering refunds for all Stadia hardware purchases (Stadia Controller, Founder's Edition, Premiere Edition, and Play and Watch with Google TV packages) made through the Google Store and software transactions (games and add-on purchases) through the Stadia store. Stadia Pro subscriptions are not eligible for refund, however you will be able to continue playing your games in Pro without further charges until the final wind down date." Source: Stadia Announcement FAQ If you still think that some refunds have not yet been processed, you can double check all transactions on pay.google.com. If needed, it maybe helps if you (for yourself) track all purchases in a sheet or Excel to see which ones have been refunded and which ones not. Google is still processing refunds until Jan 18, 2023, so if you haven't received your refunds by then, you can also get in touch with Stadia support. Just be aware they are super busy right now.

I would give it a bit more time @akim0086, there are probably still a lot of refunds that Google needs to process and they mentioned all should be done by Jan 18, 2023. So maybe worth to wait a bit longer. Either it arrives on your original payment method or it fails in which case you would receive an email with a link to the notification-section of pay.google.com to provide an alternate payment method. For some of my purchases it was a 3-4 week wait, so it doesn't seem unusual to wait longer.
If you didn't got any email about it, you don't have any point of contact to the old chat-partner, so I'd recommend to get in touch with them again in that case. If you have changed the payment met... See more...
If you didn't got any email about it, you don't have any point of contact to the old chat-partner, so I'd recommend to get in touch with them again in that case. If you have changed the payment method though for your refund, you probably just need to have a bit more patience until the refund arrives. Bear in mind that Google is still processing the refunds until Jan 18, 2023, so you could also get in touch again with the support if you haven't received the refund by then.

Hey @baddabing, We can currently not help here in the forum with that issue. It's good that you contacted the support already, but if they can't do anything right now, it's probably best to wait a bit longer and see if Google provides an option for all users who made HW purchases as guest-orders. Refunds are processed until Jan 18, 2023, so hopefully by then you'll know more.
Did you actually got emails about the refunds?

Google is probably taking the information from myaccount.google.com @Cookiesjar22, so maybe worth to double check your contact and alternate email addresses there. I doubt the Stadia team can make any changes to email addresses, so whatever tool Stadia is using to proceed these automated refunds will probably take the info from there.

Mh sounds tricky, but since Google is trying to always refund the original payment method first, you shouldn't have any issues getting the refund back. It would only be an issue if the initial refund fails, because then you would need access to your account to fix the failed refund via the email from Google (or via the notification on pay.google.com), but when the account is closed, then you would probably need to check with the Stadia team if there's anything else they can provide. In any way I would recommend in your case to give it a bit more time and see if the refund arrives.

I think the best in your case would be to simply wait a bit longer, since you have exhausted everything from your end. It's possible that the email or the Pay notification simply takes longer for these particular transactions plus Google stated all refunds should be done by Jan 18, 2023, so there's technically still time for your refund to be processed. If it comes to January it probably makes sense to push back again to the Google Stadia team, but until then I'd recommend to wait a bit.
