Wondering about this aswell, got both a turtle Beach 800p and a plantronics rig 800 for my ps4. Both must be plugged in with optical adapter to give me any 5.1. Never heard about a headset that can give you any surround sound through 3.5.m or usb c. Maybe its different with stadia since the controller connect direcrly to Stadia servers.
I agree fully.  You should always be able to buy a game even if you are a pro member. As others said, on a sale you might wanna take the jump just to own it when you decide to end subscription.

Interesting discussion.  In my mind and what i believe stadia should do is focus on console owners.  There are maybe 200 million console owners out there split between the 3 major once (xbox, playstation, switch) and many of them are used to playing on a controller and also, a lot of them are now looking for a substitute to ps5/xsx since there is a huge shortage of units. I speak from my own experience, if i could have gotten a PS5 i would'nt be here. Now that i found stadia i have no need for a ps5, sure maybe down the road (2 years or so) but as it is now i'm impressed with stadia and have decided to stick with it in the long run. Just hoping for a few competitive online shooters. Anyway, as long as stadia is empty on the online part of games.. then yes, i support crossplay. But maybe more with the other consoles rather than pc. Or atleast an option to turn it off when playing with a controller and ccu. As it is now, i think that most of the newcomers are people that are coming from consoles. Just my guesses. And it would be fun to get some statistics from stadia on what device is most used when playing stadia. Maybe it used to be on pc and mobile? But since the best experience are supposed to be on wired ethernet and on a 4k tv (since Google Chrome is some what laggy and not as sharp and tablet/mobile are smaller screen) then i guess the biggest part of stadia gamers use a controller and therefore we get slaughtered against m/kb in crossplay.

When you play online with friends, is it co-op you are refering to? Or do you guys play competitive? I knew, going into stadia, that it's a new platform. It's always a big step changing from one platform to another since you have friends and games library from many years back on the current platform. I play mainly on PS4 pro, recently sold my xbox one x, and don't have any intention to upgrade my pc. Me and 4 friends were going to leap over to the PS5 but got tired of the long wait for a console so we all jumped over to Stadia. It's such a cool and fun platform so i truly hope we get a few of the big online games on here to grow the online community.  Have a great day @RXShorty

Hi fellow stadians,  I just got the Premiere edition delivered and also preordered cyberpunk so i can have two controllers (great deal stadia). So i been playing most of the day with the pro membership games but i also bought a few games.  What struck me is how empty online is, i get playstation 3 vibes. Doom was $5 and GR:breakpoint was $20 with the $10 deal. And I can not play any competitive multiplayer. I tried on and off the entire day.. Nothing. Sure, Doom is an old game and breakpoint did not hit well on the market. And since the division 2 don't have cross save i don't want to buy it and grind again.. Sure its crazy cheap, but i don’t have the hours. Pubg and destiny 2 was ok with players, so was sniper elite 4..but it still worries me.  What i hope, is that we get a couple of those competitive/popular games on Stadia. Call of duty, cs:GO, battlefield, fortnite, apex legends and even ubisoft hyper scape. I believe stadia needs online shooters to draw the crowd. I know that we will be getting rainbow six siege and I hope we are just days away from a release. What i also hope that stadia does (to bring over potential ps5/xsx buyers) is to bring over pc specific games like escape from tarkov, among us and other popular pc games. Don’t get me wrong, i really like little big workshop, get packed, pga tour, NBA and the likes.. But for me, 90% of my gaming is online and competitive (in a casual and fun state) and many feel the same. Experience a game with friends, or against them, is pure joy. Time will tell, but i truly hope we get a few of them to Stadia and maybe 1-2 must have exclusives.. And soon.   My first post here so i would also like to congrat the stadia team on such a great product and also to the community for being very friendly. Have a great weekend.
