I hope it is soon.  I just cancelled my stadia Pro due to no Safari support and switching away from Windows to Mac M1 computers.  Not a big fan of Chrome, and Safari is so tightly integrated into the ecosystem that I'd rather just use that without Stadia and wait for Google to get it together.

Still waiting on "The Division". How difficult would it be to get Ubisoft's back catalog of games onto Stadia?  Playing wildlands really makes me want to play the older Ghost Recon games.  Maybe some Splinter Cell, Rainbow 6 lockdown, Prince of Persia trilogy, etc...    It'd be cool to see a vidoc style breakdown of the process that Stadia and Ubisoft go through together to bring games into the platform.  Give us a greater appreciation of the work being done for our benefit.

I have used my Google Play credit with Stadia, but it cannot accept partial payments. (IE you cannot spend $20 from your credit on the preorder then use a card for the rest.)  I would advise adding money to your Google Play credit for the amount that you need for your preorder, then using that balance for your pre-order.  That way, you use the same amount you would have from your account, but you don't have that play credit sitting around unused.

I would definitely recommend using your PC, actually.  Because this is running in the cloud, and PC that can support the Chrome browser can play the games.  If you have an old controller from any other console that can be connected via USB, you can use the controller without having to fuss about with bluetooth or anything like that.
This is a really good question!  I'd also be interested in this answer.  I share alot of games with my kids.

Vpn is the only advice I can give you.  If you are already committed to the Google ecosystem, maybe try the new Google VPN that was added to Google 1 recently.  If you have another VPN provider, try that.   However, keep in mind that your VPN doesn't make you physically closer the the servers Google is hosting these games on, so there maybe latency issues.

Just bought Fallen Order on Xbox a few weeks ago, before I got my free Stadia bundle.  That bundle was a good idea, because now I'm subscribed and buying Fallen Order here, again, to support the platform.  ;D The most exciting part of this is actually seeing an EA game, regardless of what it is.  Seeing more big publishers is always a good sign.
