I thought for sure the Logitech Cloud G and new Razer thing was a good sign for cloud gaming, or was XBox Game Pass the actual killer? All this refund money -- a few games, a wasabi controller, and a Founders edition -- will be going straight to Valve I guess. I was really enjoying Stadia on my Steam Deck. Nice wired controllers, wish they were able to activate the Bluetooth before their service dies.

@shaunbutter nope, disagree. AAA games are $60 across all platforms, $20 Indie-games are $20 across all platforms. The only time Steam games are cheaper is when there is a sale. Doesn't matter, "console" prices or not, this is not a $40 game, it's a $30 game. I'll have to wait for it to go on sale if I ever decide to buy it. If it was $30 on release, I would have 100% bought it on day-one, but they missed out on the opportunity. I have $30 in my pocket going somewhere else, I guess.

Ironic since Kine was blasted a little bit for being an exclusive over at Epic, and it's cheaper there. All the rules of marketing and sales are being broken, and it's bizarre. I bought Kine, didn't even compare prices because I wanted it on Stadia. I want this for Stadia, not Steam. The price was right on Steam.

@Lethaldemise you're missing the point. I did blame THQ Nordic, but it's still on Google's platform. I think it benefits Google and THQ Nordic for them to understand why a person like me is disappointed, I am not being irrational here. $40 is significantly higher than $30. I love Stadia so far, but the pricing of this game is a deal breaker. Imagine if Doom Eternal is released 25% more expensive on Stadia ($75) than it is in Steam ($60)? That's exactly the same price difference.

Excluding sales and other promotional incentives, prices across all platforms are always the same. $60 for AAA games, and less for Indies and older games. That's a standard practice, why they are charging more on Stadia vs Steam? People on Xbox and PS4 will be pissed too when they find out its retail price is going to be $40 too. $30 was the right price, $40 is a fail. If people disagree, cover that extra $10 for me and I'll buy it.
Exactly. AAA games are $60 across all platforms, Indie games are the same price across all platforms, the only exception are sales, pre-sales, and bundles. But that's not happening here.
Big FAIL on the pricing. This price is NOT competitive (less than $30 on Steam). I was so looking forward to this, but Google and THQ Nordic, you just lost what was going to be a sale.
