Out of curiousity. Can you watch Netflix natively on the Mi Projector? I was looking into the short throw Xiaomi one but read that there were some licencing/DRM-issues with Netflix, as an example. If Xiaomi made it with lesser support from Google (or unofficial software) it might be that support never comes to it, especially if it won't recieve updates. Just a thought.

To be fair though, Google never promised a huge game library at launch, at least I never saw that promise. They announced the games that would be on the service during 2019 and some for 2020. Negative latency was also a mention of "maybe something we can do in the future". I feel like people need to listen and judge what's said for them self. Google could have been clearer with their wording, and obviously they should have been. Besides the delivery stuff though, I'm highly happy with Stadia. Developers decide the fps and that's been the case for ever. Assassin's creed and games like The Evil Within have this idea of a cinematic experience. I don't agree with it, but if Google said "you have to do this" I wonder how developers would react.

That's fine, I might have missed the Black Friday labels. I read the AMAs though and never saw anything like that. I'm not defending Google as much as saying that it's not something I'd expect. Simply from a logical buissiness perspective. Especially at launch with a limited amount of titles. But that's a great way to counter-argument.

I also never saw any games labeled as Black Friday, checked each day for curiosity .

It's kind of amusing actually. It's not "the price to play anywhere" , it's the games console price. Being released with the pc version and prior to Xbox and ps4 version is actually hurting it. It's not uncommon for games to be priced at around $10 less on steam at launch. Could it be a licensing thing? I won't justify it as I don't particularly like it myself, but we need to chill.

They mentioned it in an interview with Stadiacast. The answer is pretty bland, but somewhat points to them not trusting LTE as a source for the time being. "There's a lot of bad LTE out there" I think he said. If that just means that they'll wait until after the review-period or if they are actually waiting for 5G is hard to say. In Sweden we don't have data caps on Wi-Fi. we do however have them on mobile, and even the "unlimited" carrier deals have a limit per day. Usually around 20GB, and then you have to fill it up though text-messaging every 5GB.

I absolutely agree. Someone should have entered the forum and sticky-posted a notice about the deals being considered Black Friday. The comments were clear on the miscommunication. I don't, however, think we should expect games on Stadia to be at a 60-70% sale after just two weeks on the market. I don't think Xbox or Playstation would release a new console and slash the prices on games because it's a holiday sale. The games are "old" so I get why people expect it. I just think we have to look at it as a new platform and understand that games that were newly released on that platform won't be as cheap as on platforms where they're a year old. Skyrim was five years old when it released on the current generation, and it wasn't cheap. It's at $50 on the switch now in Sweden. I would love cheap sales and great deals, and I expect them to come. But not yet. Google should have been a lot clearer, and the current reaction points towards a less clean (but obviously working) marketing. There's a point to be made that Stadia would be a lot more popular if they did. You don't have to agree with me.

I wouldn't hold my breath for Built-in Chromecast support! Honestly, the difference in quality between a Chromecast device and having it Built-in is mind bending. The Stadia team said they will announce more devices in the future, but there's no word on when. My guess is that the Nvidia Shield and regular Chromecast 3rd gen gets it next.

I agree there are some confusion about what Pro deals mean. They never specified that Pro-members would get deals all the time though, at least I never read that. Stadia Pro subscribers get exclusive discounts, it never says crazy price-cuts all year round. I for one never expected that. The Black Friday debacle was way of, but mostly because the Twitter people kept (copy pasting) asking people to keep an eye on the store instead of just typing a new message. It was confusing from the get go, but that didn't help. About games prices in general I don't think we should expect 80% off, even if games sell for that at other platforms discounts. They are new to stadia after all. Skyrim was full price when it released on the Switch.
@SSBGokuIt's not, sorry I should have clarified. It was a communications error from the (I think) Italian Twitter-responder. Google clarified this shortly after.
@TheOldGuyThat's very strange indeed. Of course, one of the multilingual responses told us that games bought at discounted prices would be removed if we cancelled if we stopped subscribing.
Sorry, without breaks this was hard to get through on my sub-par work monitor. Did you actually recieve the Premiere Edition when shipped and a premiere account?

Have Have Xcloud announced any pricing? The beta includes 50 games I know, but games pass is $15 and it's not clear if Xcloud will be free or have an additional cost to that. If you like Ubisoft games there will be Uplay Plus sometime next year, maybe more subscriptions are coming who knows. In an interview with Stadiacast John Justice didn't deny a second Stadia-subscription might come in the future, I'm guessing that would (f it comes) include games from various developers. That would be similar to Xcloud then, if it comes. Still, to conclude with my main point: We don't know that Xcloud will be included in Xbox Games Pass.

Sounds like a horrific experience! Just as a Quick comment though, it's not like Sony went out of their way to fix save issues for Skyrim on Playstation. If it's a game related bug enabled by the fact the Stadia is a new platform they should, and probably are working with SE. If it's an issue on several platforms, of course it a game related bug and not a Stadia-specifik issue. I don't mean to come of harsh here, I just think the platform-developer might not be at fault on every issue. Just a thought.

Order dates matter because Google said they'd send the packages in that order. The codes were however supposed to be sent when the package was sent which obviously failed... Google blaimed an error and said that the codes are now being sent out in the same order, first ordered, first served. That's why I asked... I ordered on the 11th of june.
