Update (Solved) Thank you @JohnZoidberg  for your support on this.  I was able to track down the audio issue to my downstream switch.  When I bypassed it I had no audio issues so I bought a new switch and the problem did not return. For people looking at this in the future, the switch that was causing my audio stuttering was a D-Link GO-SW-5G.  Thanks and hope this post helps someone else in the future with a similar issue.

Hello, I am having a really bad audio stuttering issue when trying to play games on my Chromecast Ultra via a wired ethernet connection. My connection says it is good enough to play 4K and the video looks fantastic but the audio stutters a lot.  I have tried resetting the Chromecast Ultra and it did not fix the problem. When I use the Chromecast Ultra through WiFi (Ethernet cable disconnected) the audio stutter goes away. I do not have any audio issues when using the wired Chromecast Ultra to watch other content like Youtube or Netflix. My wired connection goes from my Google Fiber modem to a Google Wifi router to a Netgear switch then to my Chromecast Ultra. I am not using power line ethernet. I would like to be able to play Stadia through my Chromecast Ultra using a wired connection.  Please help me troubleshoot this issue,
