Like i said, it only works with newly created accounts. Removing all your friend from an old account doesn't work. Google refuses to acknowledge this problem and doesn't do anything about it.

This problem is account related and not phone/app related. It only happens on accounts with a large friends list. If you have 0 friends it won't crash. Proof? After it crashed go to stadia.google.com on your desktop browser (assuming you are logged in with the same google account of course) and you will see a white page with an error.. after 1 minute or so the page is accessible again (and app will also works for a few seconds again... and then the whole circus starts again) This is why some people are reporting it's not crashing with a recently created new account. Google is still unable to fix this after more then a year. It's a shame.

Hi, i have the same issue. I have two Stadia accounts and it only happens on the account with a huge friendlist. It crashes without error and when i try to access stadia.google.com it gives me a blank page with error 429. When I try to restart the app with the same account it says "something umexpected happened". After a few minutes waiting it works again (also stadia.google.com is accessible again) but when i try to start a game it crashes again. This never happens when i switch to my other account with just a few friends. Error 429 got something to do with too many requests, sounds like there is some link when you have a big friendlist.
