Pre-launch we were told that ALL stadia games would run in 4K 60 FPS if our internet connections are fast enough. Vice President of Google @MrPhilHarrison tweeted on the 9th of October: " Yes, all games at launch support 4K. We designed Stadia to enable 4K/60 (with appropriate TV and bandwidth). We want all games to play 4K/60 but sometimes for artistic reasons a game is 4K/30 so Stadia always streams at 4K/60 via 2x encode" I bought Assassin's Creed and it's only 30 FPS on Chromecast. Doesn't look like 4K either. Reports and reviews show that hardly any of the launch games fullfilll the promises made by Google. I believe there must be a good reason for this. Maybe it's a planned limitation in the launch period to avoid an embarrassing system crash? Or maybe something (more) went wrong? Either way I hope there will be a quick fix! Could please someone from Google comment on this? @GraceFromGoogle When will it be fixed? I don't want to believe it was just a lie.... Other than this I'm satisfied with the product. Input lag is acceptable, but if fidelity is only on par with XBox One S and PS4 you have a.serious problem!
