Does this work *per* Chromecast Ultra? I would like to set my downstairs Chromecast Ultra to 1080p, but the one connected to my upstairs TV to 720p (as it's only an old TV with maximum 720p resolution anyway). Or does changing the setting stick for *all* Chromecasts on your account? EDIT: I'm home now and have tried this. Yes, it DOES support a different stream quality per Chromecast device on your account, and remembers each one separately!

Thanks. Yes, slower white blinking as soon as I turn it on, then it vibrates once when it's connected to WiFi, followed by a slightly faster white blinking indicating it's ready to link (or a double vibrate if it auto-connects to my Chromecast and therefore bypasses the linking). I have to admit, I haven't tried entering the linking code immediately, so I'll give it a go. Although I'm guessing it may not work, otherwise auto-connecting to my Chromecast would also happen immediately. Just to be clear, when it's ready for the linking code, it always connects within a second or two of me entering the code. It's just that initial connecting to WiFi that's slow.

Anyone else find their Stadia controller takes a while to connect to WiFi? When I turn it on, it usually flashes white much longer than the 12 seconds suggested by Google's support information. It usually gives up and goes back to flashing orange, suggesting it has no WiFi connection, but if I then don't touch it and wait a further 30 seconds to a minute, it eventually connects and then it's fine after that (I don't get any disconnects or other problems). It doesn't seem to matter how close I am to my router, so it's not a signal strength issue. I often find if I've used it just recently, it's much quicker to connect when I turn it back on. Is it likely just my router's fault, or do others find their controller takes a long time to connect when they first turn it on? Not a major problem I guess, I'm just curious.
