Since Chrome does not have and does not intend to have GPU hardware acceleration in the official build can we at least get an electron app that does? I use the chromium PPA for Ubuntu and it works ok...

Since Chrome does not have and does not intend to have GPU hardware acceleration in the official build can we at least get an electron app that does? I use the chromium PPA for Ubuntu and it works ok, no wayland support yet though, but I'd love to have a snap app that updates itself and does not break. If no official then this is a community call to create one! Nice GPU accelerated electron app, possibly with wayland support and packaged as snap and flatpak. A boy can dream right?
