I was in shock to hear that Stadia is closing. Stadia had the best tech, but regretfully lacked AAA titles to bring in more gamers. Is there any chance Google form a tech partnership with Steam? Steam is also pushing hard on linux gaming, so partnership could work. Maybe Steam could focus on "ability to purchase and install" on individual's PC, while Google focus on streaming side (on PC, phone, tablet, and Steam Deck).
Hey @LarkSS ! You are the best! The trick worked! Thanks for sharing it with us
@Ivan Thanks for the link Ivan. I will try suggested ways. But with Google Play forum, it appears that the support just pastes same "policy" link and locks the thread.

Hey @Ivan I reviewed the policy before contacting the support, and during the chat, the agent pasted the link to me as well. Every time I politely reminded the agent that I am still eligible for the refund, the agent just kept repeating what was on the attached screenshot. It was going nowhere. What makes me at unease is that Stadia is also run by google; and having similar policy, it could happen to Stadia too. Who knows...maybe same agents provide support for all google services, including Stadia. Maybe Stadia is more lenient, because it is still a new service. I had confidence with google purchases, but now, I am not so sure.
@ShadowKnight That is similar refund policy to google play movie service, which is understandable as Stadia is also from google. https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637?p=refund_policy_... See more...

Within 7 days. It was first purchase. (re-purchase nulls the refund policy). As these policies are similar (under google) Stadia support could do exactly same too. So, it still puts me at unease. When asked for other support channels, I was asked to leave a feedback, which I know it goes to nowhere.

Has anyone experienced trouble getting refund from google? I purchased a movie pack yesterday from Google Play Movie. I realized that it was not the correct version I was looking for, so I requested a refund almost immediately after the purchase. I did not watch the movies, but my refund request got rejected. When I contacted google support, the agent kept referring me to google policy without specifically telling why I am not eligible for refund (screenshot attached). When I read the policy, I am definitely eligible for the refund. Because of this, I am getting nervous purchasing digital contents from google, which includes Stadia. Am I being unreasonable here, or is it google?

Hey okdz. Welcome to Stadia. The game will close first after some time (if you are away). If you restart the game within 10 minutes, Stadia will load your last game state. Otherwise, you will have to start over from your last game save. Then eventually (if you are still away), Stadia will log you out automatically. You will then have to log in again. By the way, Cyberpunk has autosave. Manual save is quick process too.

I recall hearing from some people (from other platform) that some save files are not compatible with newer patch. I could be wrong.
I think Stadia begun distributing codes yesterday. This deal only lasts until their supply lasts and I think many people preordered. I hope you made it.

@Abovan I agree. It is annoying to keep restarting Stadia whenever crowd play space is available, especially in short games. Accepting crowd play button (60 seconds countdown) should be integrated into both Stadia app and YouTube. Stadia also needs to integrate YouTube into its app. It would be awesome to watch designated YouTube streamer in-game (picture in picture mode). I think it will be possible (it will be like real time screen share feature in Division 2). They could just bake it into the Stadia UI too. That way, we simply open up Stadia UI in-game to watch the streamers.

Over time, probably yes as Stadia will be upgrading and expanding their hardware. Near future (like within weeks), not sure. Since many people are playing Cyberpunk, they probably have to make some allocation in term of graphical power to accommodate everyone. It is my guess, so please don't quote me on this. Cyberpunk plays so smoothly with acceptable graphics on Stadia, so it works for me for now. I expect them to improve.

I encountered three bugs so far. I did not take pictures, but my car once got stock at half way opened fence gate. You can respawn your car. So not a big issue. If you park your car on a slope, your car will stay float, anchored at highest point. I found it amusing. I witnessed Jackie literally going through the elevator door. I think he has a ghost power.

@FoxMindedGuy One issue is that once you lapse out pro, you lose sweet pro discount price. Unless you intend to buy games at regular price or with little discount. Stadia had this feature before, but they removed it. I know, because I used the feature before, and kept asking Stadia to bring it back. I think too many people complained how their purchased games became pro (free) and asked for refunds.
When we met at the lounge, I asked him to bring his games to Stadia

@codesplice Yes, I did what you did, but I kept getting error pop ups whenever I tried to claim the armor from Ubisoft Connect. After reading your post, I tried it again. It is now working! So it appears that Stadia and Ubisoft fixed the armor issue. With Ubisoft Connect issue fixed for Fenix Rising, I tried Uno game to see whether its issue is fixed (jump-in house rule, which is claimed from Ubisoft Connect). It appears that Uno issue still persists.
