I have had this issue since launch and have already posted this on the big 5.1 audio thread here but I believe it be a different issue than 5.1 audio that doesn't work at all. My Chromecast Ultra is connected to my Onkyo TX-NR686 receiver which is connected to a 5.1 speaker setup and a LG B8 TV. Every time I load up Stadia after shutting it down, my receiver shows to be receiving only a 2.0 stereo signal from the Chromecast, even after starting a game and playing a bit. My connection at all times shows Excellent and 5.1. This is what I have to do to resolve it (every time): Pause the game Cast a 5.1 audio/video content source from my phone to the Chromecast (for example, a Netflix show) which shuts down Stadia to bring the other content up. Load Stadia and go into the game again Now Stadia is properly sending a 5.1 audio signal which I can see by an indication on my receiver. I'll emphasize that it's not just a signal indication - I can verify hearing stereo sound before and 5.1 sound after coming from my speakers. Is this a known problem? Is there a planned fix? We're getting closer to two months since launch and there hasn't seemed to be any update to the founder's edition Chromecast Ultra firmware. Why are updates so slow with so many reported issues?

Currently there's only one volume setting for the Chromecast. Connecting headphones to the Stadia controller keeps the same audio volume level that the Chromecast was just set to. If you lower the volume and then take the headphones out, the same lower volume is now set on your Chromecast. I keep my Chromecast at max level and when the headphones are plugged in, I always have to lower it since with normal headphones, max volume is too loud. It would be very appreciated if somehow the Chromecast could remember different volume settings - with and without headphones connected to the controller. (I'll also mention that changing Stadia audio volume requires 4-5 clicks just to get to the setting)

As the title states. The default HDR Calibration option in Farming Simulator 19 is set to 100 out of 600 which gives the game a very poor and dimmed look. Changing it to the max of 600, at least on my TV, makes the game look much much better (even though it still feels like fake HDR as with a lot of other supposed HDR titles, perhaps due to color gamut compression or something to that sort). Unfortunately the changes you make to HDR Calibration under the display options of the game in the main screen, are not saved between game sessions and I have to change them manually each time when I start the game up and before loading my saved game. Is this something that we should also address to the developer? What are the proper channels for that?

I have this issue but not constantly. I have the CC connected to my Onkyo receiver which is connected to my LG B8 TV. I can detect the input stream from the chromecast through the on-screen display of my receiver. I've noticed that sometimes, when starting a new session of Stadia and then starting a new game, I will get a 2.0 PCM stream even though my connection is Excellent and shows 4K 5.1. I can cast Netflix at those instances and receive a 5.1 input stream on my receiver. Shutting down and restarting Stadia doesn't solve it BUT the solution which works every time is REBOOTING the chromecast through its settings in the Google Home app on my phone. That solves the problem for me but of course it is very annoying as it seems like every other session I have to restart the chromecast in order to receive a proper 5.1 PCM input stream.
