Hello @Hammer & @JohnZoidberg, As Elder Scroll Online is on Stadia and as Skyrim has been ported into many different devices (PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and also PS5 & Xbox Series X), this wouldn't, personally, surprise me. Also, Serious Sam is on Stadia too. But you have to know that Bethesda & Zenimax has been acquired by Microsoft on September 2020, and with the launch of XCloud.. well, we will see. In all case only Zenimax/Bethesda or Microsoft are able to make an official communication on it - not Stadia, sadly.

Hello @Greenhill, So the issue does dissapear ? Everything is right now ? TBH Chromebooks are mostly low-end machines. Any on-going update / unoptimized addons can cause lags. Have the same problem on my chromebook (asus), sometimes. This is probably what happened : something may had runned in background and use too much ressources. If the problem does appear again (I do not hope so !), you can use the Chrome built-in Task Manager to see what's happening. ☺
Ok so it was speculations.

Ok, I understand. As I also possess Far Cry 5 I did check in the option if there is something to do. I think you aleady did but we never know. Sadly, there isn't, here. This means it's the input sended by your controller directly. The only solution is to re-map this button. Do you have a software to edit your inputs ? If not, you can still try with XOutput (freeware), only re-map this button and try again. Keep us in touch !
Hello @JenerossiTea, By "game menu", you mean the Stadia sidebar that appear normally when you press the Stadia built-in button on the official controller ? Or Shift+Tab with a keyboard ?

Hello @revengeyo, This kind of issues should be posted on the Xbox Cloudgaming App, I think. Stadia controller is used for Stadia and can be compatible with other services depending on the service, but it's not Stadia's responsibility. For example, on Steam, your Stadia controller will be recognized and configured automatically. Seems like it's not the case for the Xbox Cloudgaming App. You should do a feedback to them directly. Also, you can still use XOutput (software) to configure your Stadia controller to match your keyboard setup on the Xloud Cloudgaming App. This should work.

Hello @Ledeste, I agree with you so much. There should be a FPS annotation on the game page. Also a quality, as some games doesn't run in 4K even if you're running 4K. Seems like Assassin's Creed Origin also looks poor (720p ? 1080p ?) versus on Steam (4K ?), for example. Also consider that the gameplay, sometimes, let gamers think there is input lag but it isn't. For example, on Assassin's Creed Valhalla, I was thinking there were an input lag because Eivor react too slow to my input. I also have AC: Valhalla through the Ubisoft Launcher. Guess what ? It's the same running on Ubisoft Launcher (RTX 2070 Super) and Stadia. On other side, I am playing Ys 8 & Ys 9, and Adol, the main character, react really fast, letting no doubt there isn't any input lag. It's just realism, not input lag, on some games. And, dunno why, we think the problem came from Stadia first before the games/devs. That's an error.

Hello @NotAGyrados, I have no direct solution for you but here is my analysis : - If Stadia wouldn't work, this would be true for everyone I think. I see no reason to have a restriction for some users. - Always dissociate bandwich capacity with stability. Actually, you have a good bandwich capacity (not the best, but a way suffisent one). I'm not sure with your stability. - Atm 30ms for a ping of 64 bytes is huge. Really huge. Just look below (in french, sorry !) : Envoi d’une requête 'ping' sur stadia.com [2001:4860:4802:32::1b] avec 64 octets de données : Réponse de 2001:4860:4802:32::1b : temps=4 ms Réponse de 2001:4860:4802:32::1b : temps=5 ms Réponse de 2001:4860:4802:32::1b : temps=4 ms Réponse de 2001:4860:4802:32::1b : temps=5 ms You probably guess it, but your network takes 6 to 7x the time it should. This can probably be the problem as Stadia output near 5 555 555 bytes/s in 1080p (Am I right ? 20 Go/h without considering Gio => 20.000.000.000 bytes / 3600 = 5.555.555 bytes/s). Also consider using the tracert stadia.com command-line. It determine all the relay your network use to reach Stadia. If one of them have a problem, this can cause troubles using Stadia. Sometimes, using a VPN (or if possible a tunnel to Stadia) improves performances (this changes thoses relay). Also consider opening your ports (list here). Thoses values & tests were realized with Netflix 4K used on my TV, Stadia actually running (playing Ys 9), my gf looking at Twitch in 1080p (Source), my 3 cameras on, iPad Pro also running, without QoS Support / use of a router. Hope this can help you in any way. It's not a "process" to solve your incident, sorry for that.

Hello @JamesFromGoogle, Same with another chromecast sadly : - It took around 15sc to show the profile selection (only 1 profile). - It took around 20-25sc to show game list. Maybe this performance issue is also linked to the number of games I have ? 113 games actually. TBH it's not that much, but I don't know if I am the only one being frustrated by this delay each time. I think there is probably something to do here. Also, once I did quit a game, and if the survey shown up, I can't select an option and submit directly, it is freezing like 5-10sc. In all case after leaving a game the game selection does appear in 2-3sc. Also in game selection when I'm searching for a game by going left to right there is also a delay. It's not input lag, it's like the game selection does lag. Sometimes the pictures does freez 1sc then scroll. It's true for all my chromecasts. EDIT : FYI I got 2 chromecasts, first from Premiere Edition, second from the Resident Evil Village offers (I think it's also a Premiere Edition).

Hello @JohnZoidberg, Sorry, did talk too fast. I only have a modem and it is wired directly to it through ethernet (4 ports, 1 used by the chromecast, 1 by the TV). Are we agree that the loading is made by the Chromecast ? Maybe the chromecast itself is the problem ? I have another chromecast. Maybe I should give a try.
Hello @Ranma, I agree with you. It would also be a good plan for Stadia to (hard-)use the DLSS technology, if it's not already the case.

Hello @JohnZoidberg, Did the check this day. My chromecast is up to date. Also it is ethernet wired directly to my router. Doesn't think it's important, but my LG TV is also wired but it is 2 separate wire. Tested with others wire, it's the same. It's random. Sometimes it takes like 13sc, sometimes almost 60sc atm.

Hello @BinaryJay, Agree with you. I did experience it on a Chromebook with low specs and Stadia doesn't work on it. Probably the same here. @MrCrowbarson : Could you please give us your specs more precisely ? Also, could you give a try over Wifi with your phone (Safari for iOS, Stadia app for Android) ? Even 2.4GHz Wifi should work. If it's working through your phone/wifi it's almost sure it came from your computer's specs. You don't need a huge computer to use Stadia. But something decent to decode the stream.

Hello @Axphyl, Strange problem ! I also play using an iPad Pro and did never had this issue. Are we agree that you're using Safari to use Stadia ? Depending on what iPad Pro you have, you'll have to check that your volume isn't force-muted first. This is a switch you can find near the volume up/down buttons :   Note that not every iPad Pro have this switch. But if used, even with sound up, no sound will came from the iPad. You can also "software-ly" mute your iPad by activating the following (so, you need to de-activate it) : Once checked, there is a last thing to check. Once on stadia through Safari, check that the sound is activated for the website. It's located near the URL : There is actually others things to do, but let's start with that. Keep us in touch ! ☺
Hello @JohnZoidberg, Didn't check for CCU firmware. Wasn't even aware there were different firmware version. Upgrade from phone I guess ?

Hello, I am using Stadia through my smartphone, computer, macbook, well, many things. But am I the only one having poor performances issues on TV ? With my chromecast ultra, ethernet wired, sometimes Stadia takes up to 4 minuts to load, sometimes only 20s (and it's huge, 20s). Also, on the game selection menu, it runs poor, there is a bit of input lag, and lag. Once the game started, everything is fine. Is there anything to do ? I am wondering if it wouldn't be better to stream the game selection directly.
