Also currently right now the library of games is super small so there isn't much they can offer, like with XBOX gamepass you usually get exclusive first party titles for free and games for a immensely cheap price. also mention for playstation you get a couple of games   there isn't much I think STADIA can offer as yet, it's why you see the controversy about not being able to use 4k while gaming, the wording is you can "get up to 4k/60 " of gaming depending on your connection   I guess we will see.
We are the epitome of beta testers or what steam would call EARLY ACCESS testers we're going to get a whole slew of issues and the slow feature walk
Hey @GraceFromGoogle overheating seems to be developing into a huge issue with a few minutes of game play, locking, resetting, and persistently seems to be developing into something worse.
The overheating issue seems to be popping up all over my gut tells me this is going to be the next big problem.   https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EJ5pOKOWwAIoPK-?format=png&name=large

Yes, I made a thread about it earlier there seems to be a overheating issue going on where people play for a few minutes and it resets on them, I saw on reddit as well that it was a common problem with chromecast but i feel this is much worse especially with heavy gaming.
https://www.androidpolice.com/2019/11/21/time-for-water-cooling-google-stadia-causes-some-chromecast-ultras-to-overheat/ just posting this article over here.    Just be aware of long game sessions

I should say I post this because it excites me more about STADIA, there is absolutely no reason why STADIA can't easily do any of the stuff that shadowplay offers, with google behind it there is also no reason we can't see "Infinite: Nvidia Titan RTX GPU, 4 GHz with 6 cores CPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage"   or am I wrong?

Shadow play features “We’re the only one to offer a full PC. You can stream, work, do some Photoshop, do some SolidWorks,” Shadow co-founder Emmanuel Freund said. “We’re the only one to offer 144Hz monitor support, we’re the only one to adapt to all screens.”   The startup is moving away from a single configuration to offer three different plans. On February 2020, customers will be able to chose between three plans — Boost, Ultra or Infinite. Boost: Nvidia GTX 1080 GPU, 3.4GHz with 4 cores CPU, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage Ultra: Nvidia RTX 2080 GPU, 4GHz with 4 cores CPU, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage Infinite: Nvidia Titan RTX GPU, 4 GHz with 6 cores CPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB of storage   As a pure cloud gaming company, Shadow wants to be available on any platform. You don’t have to buy a Google Pixel phone or a PlayStation to access the service. You can launch your Shadow instance on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, tvOS and Android TV. And now, you can even imagine using Shadow with a mobile VR headset. After installing the Android app, you can launch VR games on your Shadow instance and access demanding games without a gaming PC.       basically do you think we will see this type of tech happening with STADIA?   https://techcrunch.com/2019/10/29/shadow-announces-new-plans-for-its-cloud-gaming-platform/

That is risky if it's anything like steam they keep track on how much you refund and notify you, "this is not a game try feature" they take note  how much time you return games. NOW as a pro user - the best solution would be give us 2 hours of free gameplay as soon as you use this you can no longer REFUND the game if you decide to buy it.

now everyone is most likely going to register at a different time so I'm assuming they have all this info and are planning either a super desirable feature or some sort of stellar game to pull us in, I  don't think they will go with a huge first party game in 3 months time but that would definitely keep me subscribed...   what would keep you subscribed past the 3 month mark?

Dream scenario? competitive pricing with steam/gog An enormous game selection like STEAM - I feel there is a game coming out every day on there, some straight trash but there is so much gems I've found. A wishlist showing the most anticipated games like steam   but mainly and I've always said this STADIA needs to follow nintendo build your brand through first party exclusives - Make your Zelda, make your Mario, Metroid...make your HALO , make your God of War or Death stranding...   First party games is what makes SONY/NINTENDO sooo appetizing and you can build your brand around that   also content creation! help small content creators GROW with your brand, not only established creators but smaller guy who can grow with you.   anyways thats all.

FYI, this is a google community you're going to get people who defend it vigorously. I also doubt google will give any sort of compensation, maybe a extra free game? or an extra week of the 3 month subscription but I doubt any of that is going to happen my friend.
So this is a pop up message from AVERMEDIA? you might want to contact them and see why that is happening. but it would be good if grace looked into it as well.

I see your point but I feel like instead of hitting the "on the go gamer" you'd want the hardcore gamer who will be the one who spends the majority of the time in your ecosystem and probably promoting it to those casual friends.  I feel if they get the hardcore games the casual gamers, the on the go gamers will all come in droves. I'm not sure how enormous the market is for people who don't have alot of time to jump into a console, they also kind of marketed it as a 4k experience..so on and so forth.
I also wouldn't buy anything on STADIA at the moment the first game I will actually buy will be  whatever their first party game is.
Yup you're not the only one mentioning this I hope they update this soon it's so hard to play without a resolution that works with an utlrawide monitor
