I see the post about refunding hardware, but I don't see ANYTHING about being refunded or "made whole" for games that we PURCHASED and will lose access to. When we we find out about that?!?!
What about the games we PURCHASED on Stadia?   Never mind... I was so hot, I didn't read the post properly the first time. 🤷🏾‍

Not bringing Elden Ring to the platform feels crazy to me. One of the most anticipated games for a long time, an automatic GOTY candidate. I realize you guys can't get EVERYTHING on Stadia, but there's some games you gotta get if you're serious about this platform.

Lots of changes in the landscape, and frankly Stadia as much as I love it, is struggling. So because of the way things have changed over 2 years, and the fact that Stadia on its own is struggling, then yeah... They should seek any kind of partnerships they can to keep things going in the right direction. But admittedly, 2 years ago I did not anticipate things would change the way they have and as fast as they have.

I know probably a lot of people aren't playing it, but are other people having problems constantly getting bumped out of Crayta? It seems like every time I play for the past week or so, I'm getting repeatedly kicked out of the game after I'm already in and playing. I get an error that says "Error: Failed to start the game session" but I'm already in the game.  It's only happening with Crayta, so maybe the servers for the game are bad or something? Anyway, just wondering if other people are seeing this problem too. If it keeps happening I might report it, but support asks for too much stuff... screenshots and other crap, before they'll even investigate a problem. So I'm not sure my time is worth it.

I think people are worrying too much about it. Stadia was the first real streaming platform. There was and is always a possibility it would fail. Usually the first tech platform for anything fails, because those that follow have an example of what was good and what was bad.  Google is still promising more games. As long as they keep adding games I'll remain a Pro member. If the platform fails, then the only promise I care about is the one from the very beginning where they said that they were invested in Stadia but if it fails they will make consumers "whole". Whether that means refunding me for games I bought or providing licenses for those games on PC, as long as they do actually make consumers whole, then I'm here for the ride as long as it lasts.  Personally, I think the shift they are making is because they need to find ways to bring in more revenue. They're not making enough just from Stadia, because not enough people are becoming pro members and people aren't buying enough games. If they're not making enough money from memberships and game sales, they can't attract developers. So they have to make money in other ways to keep Stadia going. If they are successful in bringing in money in other ways then they won't need to kill off Stadia. So I'm all for then doing what they need to.

It KINDA stinks, because I just wanted the extra content, and it took a lot of work on my part considering it was a $3.49 purchase. But at least I am glad they finally refunded it. I might try buying it again, but not any time soon. Hopefully they will let people know when it is actually fixed, and then I might try again.

Believe it or not this is still not fixed. I purchased this add-on on Nov 24th and still don't have the content. Square Enix has an open ticket and haven't gotten back to me. I checked in after 2 weeks and they told be it was sent to their tech support and to "be patient". I asked Google support for a refund of JUST the add-on, and told them to remove it from my account and they said they don't refund add-ons. Then they asked me for proof of my Square Enix ticket, which I gave them. So now it is almost a month since I bought it, Google has my money, I don't have the content, and NOBODY has fixed anything. The stupid thing cost me $3.49. You would think undoing it would have been simple since it doesn't work. It's one of those things where you just want to be like "Meh... I don't feel like fighting over $3.49" but also... I paid a huge company for something, and I didn't get what I paid for at all. So then it's like... "Meh... I guess I gotta keep fighting so I am not screwed by the Corpo bastards", as V would say, lol. 
Sorry missed this yesterday, but it tried a bunch of times. Eventually I gave up and just played Outriders, lol.
I can't get AC Odyssey to run right now. It gets stuck on the "checking for additional content" screen and never moves beyond that.

This is a whole lot of trouble to go through for a $3.49 add-on. But Google didn't even address my question about getting a refund if the content doesn't work, so I have to keep fighting to get the content since I can't even get my $3.49 refunded. I want the content anyway, so I hope they can fix this. But it's a real pain to have to chase down content that I paid for.

It's hilarious. I reached out to S/E and they said it's a Stadia server issue. But this is happening to people across all platforms right?  So Stadia support sent me to Square Enix and Square Enix says go to Stadia. Since it's happening across platforms, it's pretty clear it's a S/E problem, but this is why Stadia support needs to work directly with developers when we report this stuff. I'm paying my money to Stadia, if I need support then Stadia/Google should be reaching to their partners to fix stuff.  Just a runaround for us as customers.

I'll try getting that one to lvl 10, and keep looking online. So far Google told me I have to get help from S/E, and S/E opened a case, but no response yet.
Awesome. I'll try some of these options. Hopefully I don't have to do the one that requires starting a new character . I really appreciate your posts. I'll let you know if any of these work for me.

I purchased the Hell's rangers add on fire Outriders almost a week ago. It does not show up for me in my game. Is anyone else having this problem?

That's true madness, like they're really just saying they will do whatever they want and they don't care if it's ridiculous. I think that's wrong, I'm always going to think it's wrong, because like you said, it's confusing. And confusing is best-case scenario. Worst case, they're actually cheating people out of content... How can we prove it if they're just switching things around whenever they feel like it. But even if it's JUST confusing, you would think somebody at Google would say... "Hmmm... Maybe we don't want to confuse our customers." But nope, instead they're in meetings like "Dude! Let's release another Gold Edition of The Crew 2! And let's also keep the existing gold Edition! Just to mess with people!"
