Ok... For real, now that the already overpriced "Pro" deals are gone, who's paying these prices for games? $60 for ASSASSIN'S CREED?! And that's for the version without the dlcs and without the season pass. If you want those it's $119... Or, you can just pay another $40 for the season pass on here.That's.. Crazy. I don't want to hear about how it's the developers setting the prices. If that's the case, then it doesn't look like these developers consider themselves partners at all with Google. It almost feels like they're intentionally overpricing titles so that they can price their "exclusives" lower and get people to buy them. Maybe I'm the one who is crazy, but I'm going to see how these 3 months go before I will buy any game on this platform. The whole thing looks like one big money grab.

They forgot to mention in today's "Latest Announcements" that Google Assistant can now be enabled on the controller. Go to your profile in the app, and scroll down there should be a Google Assistant option. Select it and there's a toggle to turn it on or off, and some disclaimers. It's only working with the TV/Chromecast setup for now though.

@GraceFromGoogle it's good to see you didn't quit after the first week! Hope you're ready to field even more crazy questions! Good luck!

I'm not telling my buddy ANYTHING! He's getting 3 months free on me, he better figure it out or ask me questions! Lol, jk. This is good advice, I'm pretty sure my buddy has a CC Ultra, but also honestly... I've played in Chrome in several different homes over the holiday week and as long as I had 5g WiFi available, I didn't notice any significant difference. But I guess everyone's experience is a little different. This is still good information to share, thanks.

Speaking of controllers, please eventually follow the path of other platforms. Have some game-exclusive controller versions, and add more colors in general. I think the Stadia controller as much as or even more than any other platform, is part of the experience. I'm pretty sure that's how Google intended it. So variety is necessary. Players like a feeling of uniqueness.

I know no platform really offers a controller repair service. But, unlike other games, the Stadia controller is the main piece of hardware. Controllers won't last forever, and the Founder's colors can't be bought again. So I'm wondering if Google has any plan on offering a repair service, considering the controllers cost $69 each already. I suppose if the controller stops working, somebody could always buy a less expensive, compatible controller, but that kind of lessens the experience doesn't it? It would be nice to know that my Founder's controller won't be just a good looking decoration in a few months.

It seems like integrating the community within the app would be a natural step, but with the way things have gone so far it seems like a huge task for them. Hopefully something they add to their to-do list though.

I know I'm being picky but I don't care. I'm already logged in on the Stadia app. So why is it that every time I launch the community from the app, I have to log in to the community separately? I get having to log in from a PC. But if I launch from the app I shouldn't have to log in separately. Can you guys fix that?

@Bakken I agree with you for the most part. I get that Stadia is a new platform so deep discounts are going to be difficult. But the way I see it, Google CHOSE to have their launch at this time of year. They know what sales happen at this time of year. In fact I think that's the reason they chose to do this launch now. If they waited people would be spending all their gaming money in all the other platforms right now and not thinking about Stadia. So they wanted in on the buying, and they knew what they were up against. And knowing that, they should have been positioned to compete with some of the holiday sales, and they weren't/aren't positioned to do that. So that's all on Google in my opinion. And like you said some of these games are old. If I have to choose between paying $60 for Stadia's ultimate edition of assassin's Creed, or $62 for the ultimate edition of mortal combat 11, why would I do that when you can get all kinds of assassin's Creed BUNDLES for less than half the Stadia price in some cases and there were mortal combat 11 ultimate sales for as low as $49 or better?Google  chose to launch now and should have been ready to compete with the holiday sales. If you're going to compete, then really compete. Don't just insert yourself into sale season with overpriced options.

And also I think it's ok to @GraceFromGoogle on posts, as long as we're not yelling at her or actually blaming her. But I do think part of her job is to try to answer some of the concerns we post, because she's the face of the community platform or at least this particular forum. She won't be able to answer everything. But hopefully Google doesn't just leave her standing in the cold without answers to anything that gets asked here.

For me there's no confusion, just disappointment. The "Pro" deals souls not be considered by Google to be equal to any sale... Black Friday, Christmas, Cyber Monday (which also seems to be absent). BUT... if they do consider those to be "sales" then Google or the developers they're working with have to make those sales competitive with Black Friday and other sales that other platforms are having. These "pro" deals don't come anywhere close to the Black Friday deals on other platforms. So I'm ok if they want to call this their black Friday sale. But if that's the case the prices are super disappointing.

But at least this was fixed quickly  I know there are tons of intelligent folks working at Google, so I'm going to be positive and believe that things are going to be much better than what we've seen so far.

It makes me wonder if you guys are really invested long term or if it's just some idea you wanted to play with

Black Friday sale!!!... NOT! The way everything in the Stadia documentation states, says that there will be Pro discounts regularly. That's all we're seeing right now.    I hope there's actually a Black Friday sale coming, but since it's Friday already, I'm not going to hold my breath waiting. It really stinks to have discounts that are supposed to be a regular feature of the platform and try to pass those discounts off as a Black Friday sale, especially when the discounts don't come anywhere near the prices that other platforms are offering.    This is a huge disappointment so far.

@limitlis at first I thought the prices were decent. At least some of the pro prices compared to REGULAR priced games. But you're right. For example mortal combat 11 premium is normally a good buy at $62.99 which is what Stadia is asking it for. But a lot of the Black Friday sales have it now for $49.99. I thought Stadia was going to have a real black Friday sale too, but so far it doesn't look that way. It's disappointing.

@Sachin it's too late to get the founder's edition anyway. You can still get the premier edition which also comes with the Chromecast ultra and maybe you could just give the extra Chromecast to a friend or family member? Or you could sell it. Or... Even better...If you know someone who got the founder's edition, get them to give you their Buddy Pass which you can activate as soon as they give it to you. Then you could play without having to buy any hardware if you don't want to.

Hi @Martje1  1) I'm pretty sure if you have multiple accounts, you can already choose which account you want to log in to on the Chromecast without using your phone. You have to make sure all the relevant accounts are added to the Chromecast, but once they are, you shouldn't need your phone to change/choose accounts. 2) Also, the family account is something I believe they already planned and said is coming. But on the "Help" topics, for that question all they say is " Stay tuned for more details on upcoming Stadia features." 3) Sorry, can't help with this one! I don't know any games for small kids.
