Same thing here, ordered 7th of june stadia pack arrived this morning (FR) and just get my code few hours after the signature validation and orders debit process. that so validate my theory, they really found few hiccups within the store orders and so explain why people that have ordered on june 6th get there code after some more recent orders, the whole system process is a mess as there is only two situations: you were a collateral damage of the store malfunction and so had to wait for the patch to be deployed on their side of things. or you were just victim of the store non-sense process that wait for the package delivery proof and order debit to be complete. my two cents, they already knew that but weren’t willing to admit that their on-boarding process will be dreadful because of the store workflow. Happy gaming you all, keep it up, name tag aren’t all taken I got the opportunity to get mine. I’ll keep posting and wanders around for a while in order to me to have a continue and complete feedback to push to Google. I’ll also write a couple of articles about all that soft opening nightmare, what went well, what didn’t and some side article in order to tackle some bull**bleep** and plain bashing that I just saw emerged couple hours ago. Cheers!
Problem is there is no logic at all about those code delivery, one with a 6th june package US NY didn't get it and then another with a 13 June package UK had it...

that it for me too @Ginger555 I didn't yet have been debited yet. That's actually what lead me to this assumption. I really think the whole store payment/order/delivery system is completely **bleep**ed up, they know it and works to fix that **bleep**, however that's not the way you handle such on-boarding nightmare. I'm astonished that Google can't handle such a small soft launch correctly, they have procedures for almost every situation regarding any other services such as GCP etc. I would be interested and glad to get a post-launch post-mortem and in-deep explanatory of the situation, what conducted to such a mess and how they plan to fix that. @GraceFromGoogle Is that something planned at least? Information? Following? well... support ^^

Here are my two cents on why those code didn't arrived on time. I think the code sending procedure is tight to your package delivery signature and that Google forgot/glitched about that. Additionally, the Google store orders management system is completely broken:   Look at that beauty that I'm supposed to still waiting for... I came to this conclusion as many redditors and people in here that actually get their validation codes where people that had their package delivered since a few hours and those that weren't receiving it were first to receiving it after @GraceFromGoogle posted the Google's official statement. So as already told, Google might well had this reflection: We know where the issue is coming from, that's supposed to be the designed process of the platform so: 1°/ - we will scan through the store in order to accelerate code delivery for few customers that may have been sided out due to the store platform glitches. 2°/ - make a statement that we found out what's going on. 3°/ - Don't listen to the noise, don't communicate, just silently observe. 4°/ - Internally prepare a patch for the store platform. 5°/ - People will receive their code after the delivery whatever so just sit and wait for that god damned signature delivery. Where actually they should have done this: 1°/ - Inform people that due to the store internal process workflow the codes were supposed to be delivered few minutes/hours after delivery signature confirmation. 2°/ - Disengage the automated procedure and just send the validation code to all Stadia Founders edition in order to smooth out the onboarding process. 3°/ - Patch internally the store platform if ever required or add a function that allow products within the store to get activation procedure triggered at orders debits. That would have been a comprehensive communication and crisis management procedure. I'm astonished that Google with its latest fail in terms of service launch didn't yet proceeded to create launch war room the way Game studios do it on major licence launch.

I'm on the same boat as you @Ginger555 got the controller delivered, still can't use it or even the platform. @GraceFromGoogle At this point (24Hrs delay) I'm really thinking to drop my stadia expectation and just goes with alternatives, it's been almost 12hrs since your latest statement. Didn't Google prepared for a War Room launch team? I mean, even if that would imply to craft a python code that read for founders orders in CSV format, generate a code and e-mail it to the attached address that would literally took me 10 mins. Adding that you can't told us that it is because of the way mailing systems works as I'm sure pretty much 90% of the Founders are actually GMail users and so the mails don't even goes out of your infrastructure. Your store reservation and orders management system is just broken, admit it, move on, push the manual method for once instead of just trying to patch the whole platform. For gosh, your priority right now is your customers onboarding, not to fix/patch the reservation system on the store or the mailing system. I mean C'mon, I still get a Nexus phone on the store orders, that is supposed to wait for delivery since 2013 but yet I used it for years and is now resting within one of my drawer. That start to be insane at that point.
Would like to see Control and Man of Medan the dark pictures anthology too by the way!
I would need an activation code that never arrived for that tho 7/6 ordered got my controller, no code since yesterday... @Ivan @GraceFromGoogle.
Definitely Death Stranding ^^

@GraceFromGoogle Thanks a lot for this update, cool to see that the community expectation and mobilization finally pressured Google enough to make this situation to move on. I'll so wait for my code and hope to be able to play before the end of the week. We know that's a soft launch but gosh such a mess with the activation code should have been anticipated way much earlier than on the launch day, that really suck and hurt the platform reputation, especially when that strike people like the early birds that we're PS: You really shouldn't have stated that today is the "launch day" but really tag that as the beta opening. #WordsMatter

Folks, regarding your network connectivity issues, have a look at the jitter and latency value when performing a speedtest or something equivalent as those metrics are almost more important than your bandwith itself. The way network connectivity works means that your ISP in order to not being sued can really provide you a full bandwith connectivity but yet have important connectivity, latency and jitter issue even on fiber connections because of plenty problems such as intermediate appliance made to snif and "secure" the network, DNS resolution issue because of a bad configuration, caching issues (I'm looking at you vodafone...) that even cause your TLS Certificats to be staled or even just replaced by your ISP. If you did the proper investigations and don't get any troubles related to the upper metrics, then it's just Google screwing up so ^^

I mean, globally Products delivery like nest/google home and smartphone/internet services went really smooth lately, I don't get how they have ended with such a mess on a service that's creating the root for a massive and new revenu stream for them...

yeah, I would have loved to be able to give them those precious feedbacks from the community and from Game studios employees as I really things that the expectation about this platform is way more higher than what Google was prepared for, and they kind of setted the bar by themselves with the early june announcement and demo on stage.

Hey, you can totally opt-in for the Stadia subscription without the bundle, but you'll then (From the latest news and pieces of informations that we got there) to wait for the real launch on Feb 2020 for that as it's currently a soft launch aiming for Founders orders to be able to join the platform, which already is something a little bit harder than it should have been.

@GraceFromGooglestill nothing from Google in my inbox except that I'll be delivered on tomorrow (ordered 7th of june), can at least someone do something quickly about this issue? We don't get the controller on 19th fine, that's hardware and that's harder to transport than bits, but please, don't screws up with the software part of it, that's ruining the party. Like... C'mon! Google is constantly advertising about BigData and BigQuery and the power of cloud computing, couldn't one of your expert just simply extract the founders orders that have been made within your targeted range (around 6 to 10 of june ?) and just fire a massive e-mailing ? I mean, that such a disappointing launch.

Here is a quick list of what people doesn't seems to understand with stadia for now: 1°/ - Stadia subscription plan give you access to a latest generation console which doesn't sit within your living room. 2°/ - Stadia isn't simply a console, it's more than that, it's a complete gaming platform tied with other Google's services such as YouTube etc. 3°/ - Why don't Stadia just allow gamers/subscibers to link their Steam/Origin/GOG/Epic/Uplay account to the platform in order for Google to verify that they already buy a specific game and so avoid the frustration for them to have to buy it once again FULL PRICE (Skyrim effect hello). 4°/ - People don't get that in order to get the best experience you need your network connection to be rock solid, not only you need a decent bandwith in order to at least play seamlessly using 1080p Stereo and don't feel input lag, but you also need to pay attention to your inherent jitter and latency. For this one, Google should improve their elligibility speed test in order to at least inform correctly the consumers as they're not all tech geeks like us early-adopters. 5°/ - People don't get that today is actually a SOFT LAUNCH and not the real launch as it's only open for Founders and yet even founders don't all get the validation code yet. 6°/ - People expectation for such platform is really high as it ask them to switch from a platform that they know really well (Console/PC) with a lot of features and zero latency/quality issue because of their network connectivity. Google will really have to work and advertise and make enormous marketing/technicals efforts during a long time (at least three years) in order for them to prouve people that it's actually working. 7°/ - Improve the games catalog really quick and sustain the post-launch effect run of the platform or you'll have the same issue than for Game studios, the gamers drain because of problems or games launch planning on other platforms. I hope all that will help a bit and that you'll all enjoy your time on the futur of gaming platform!
I hope they'll arrive soon too, I'm sooooo thrilled to start testing the service!! Same question here, Ordered on 7th of June, France based, not yet received my validation code tho
