It's fantastic that F1 2020 came to Stadia on day 1. But when will the base game be released?
Impressed with ESO, seems a great game and the graphics and stability of Stadia is top notch yet again.

@Irish Yep I agree that it's fantastic to those casual gamers who can just stream to their TV and that this is the first true streaming game service. I love the ease of use and how well this works, I think its great, but I just feel that it needs to have the support from the more hardcore gamers to survive. Also X-Box's Gamepass will undoubtably become much better for PC(it has just come out in beta form), so the more time Stadia takes to get a good base of players the less chance for it to survive as a competing games platform. Think of the number of games X Box has and PS once they get on the bandwagon. Also I really appreciate the quality of the free monthly games, a good blend of different types of games.

It baffles me to the business model for Stadia by Google. I got on when they were offering 2 months free Pro Subscription and thought this is great and it will get the confidence back in the platform (as it was not good before at the start of the year). Getting free games with the Pro sub each month, following the other gaming platforms was great and the sales going on for a couple of weeks really kept you invested in the platform. Now we have had over a week of no Sales at all and with the free trial moving to one month, this will really hit Stadia hard as new players will be reluctant to stay. Also with the news that Cyberpunk 2077 will not come to Stadia day 1, I fear this will be the end of this platform, a real shame! Stadia works so well on my 10 year old Mac, amazing! but I am now really considering dropping the Pro Subscription as I start paying this month. I don't need to play the games I have on Pro, I bought Red Dead 2 full price. You can not underestimate confidence in a computer game platform and I am afraid Stadia, mine is decreasing by the day.

This is a massive blow for Stadia. The new generation of consoles are coming very soon and with the news that you will not get Cyberpunk day 1 on Stadia means it will sway A LOT of players. It's a real shame as this could be an amazing platform for gaming, I love it and being a PS4 owner and PC this is my goto. I wanted to stay with Stadia because of the fact that they seemed to sort themselves out by getting Cyberpunk day 1 (arguably will be the biggest game of the year). Now I am genuinely thinking PS5. I will start a new thread about the lack of sales and if Stadia and Google even care about keeping new players and gaining a solid player base!

Well, being a PS4 and pc player I didn't think Stadia had anything new to offer, and with a very limited game library it felt like a tech demo. This was back in November 2019. With the 2 months free Pro sub, I had to give it a go. I loaded it up on Google Chrome browser thinking this will never work on my 11 year old mac. But I had 70 mbs wifi connection so it said I would be fine. I loaded up Grid and WOW, near perfect 2 hours of gameplay I was stunned. I immediately bought Tomb Raider that was on sale (having not played the most recent instalment), and again just blown away with how well it works, on a browser! No hard drive needed, quick load times and great gameplay.  Now I am aching for more games and this is the big problem with Stadia at the moment. If they can invest in more Triple A games on release (and I think this is very important as I have completed Star Wars coming to Stadia in the Autumn). I believe this will improve and I hope it goes from strength to strength, but PLEASE STADIA, KEEP OFFERING FREE 2 MONTH PRO SUBS TO NEW JOINERS. It will keep the influx of new players going and increase the popularity of the system, especially with the PS5 and X box X series coming soon. You have a Stadia player in me as long as the titles continue to come and the sales continue. I really think you are paving the way for the future of the industry leading to a streaming platform. Thanks Stadia.

I signed up to stadia a month ago as they offered 2 months pro free. Although this came with only a few games free, it gave the opportunity to try stadia. I was blown away, playing Grid no lag and beautiful full graphics on a 11 year old mac! I then purchased Tomb Raider (on sale with pro, and I am unsure if this will be available if I do not subscribe even though I bought the game). This is because my internet connection wifi is great (70Mbs), which is why It works amazingly well for me. I have since bought 2 more games again on sale. I have been so spoilt with the quality of how well the games run, that I subscribed to X Box game pass for pc (£1 for this month). After downloading Gears 5, I loaded it up, with my pc being much more powerful than my mac and the game was unplayable. Streaming gaming is definitely the future of the industry, Stadia does need to get a better game library though, as it is lucky I haven't played many of the older hits here. To answer your question, Stadia give some free games every month, however, they seem to regularly have sales. (NBA 2k20 was £3! One of my favourite game franchises). I have a PS4, but no 4k TV, so Stadia is now my go to for triple A third party games (if they have them).
