So I can confirm this actually solved our issue. The signal seems to be much more stable and the sound is no longer cutting out. In general, all our devices connected over WiFi are working a lot better. So Google Nest WiFi & Stadia are a good combo!

I upgraded yesterday our WiFi to Google Nest WiFi and with that I enabled the gaming option as well. The ISP provided router wasn't always up to par with the WiFi signal. I noticed with all the working from home that we sometimes struggled with the WiFi. I haven't tested it out yet but I'll update my findings if this hopefully stabilises the connection with the controller as well.

On Reddit I've made a post about my squeeky controller. I've made a ticket with Google Stadia support and it's getting replaced though. But apparently there are more people than there should be that are mentioning problems with their controllers. Some also said that I should keep the 'noisy' controller as you could receive a new one that could be worse. I'm liking the Stadia tech but indeed their controllers are not of the greatest quality, unfortunately.

Hello, Been using Stadia now for a couple of weeks. Loved it when playing on laptop with Chrome so I got the Premiere Edition. Now when using the CCU/controller and having a headset with the jack connected to the controller I have these frequent intervals of sound cutting out. I only get this when I have a headset connected to the controller. No issues whatsoever when the sound comes through the TV or when on the laptop. I also use the headset with my PS4 and no issues with it nor on my phone and laptop. My internet is between 250 Mbps and 300 Mbps so I'm not sure the problem is my internet either. I have no latency issues when playing games or atleast nothing noticeable.
Well they could offer F2P games with Stadia Pro. If Stadia would have games like Apex Legends, Fortnite, CoD: Warzone that would seriously attract some people.

I've been trying out Stadia since the 16th of May and I've had a great experience so far. Been playing on pc with PS4 controller for GRID and mouse and keyboard for Destiny 2. I've had one bad experience where I booted up the pc and immediately started playing Destiny and noticed some input lag but I reckon windows was maybe installing some updates in the background. I quit out and started again and it was ok again. With the pc it's connected via lan through a powerline. I've gotten a WiFi extender and see if that works better. I also ordered the premiere edition to try Stadia on the 4k tv.

I downloaded the video file from Stadia.com and wanted to share it with some friends in WhatsApp. I was able to share that file but once you downloaded it, it didn't really work when you wanted to view it in your phone. The video only displayed 1 second of 30 second long file.
