@JDDOS Yes, having a picture of yourself, instead of a random cartoon avatar, just screams insincerity! 🤦
Many, many, many wrong things they've made in the past, and continue to do so to this day.

The trouble is Devil, that I'm saying one thing, you've come along, and started talking about something else that I don't care about, you don't seem to want to acknowledge my original point, rather you seem to want to point out typos, and change the meaning of what I'm saying, your point seems to be that I still pay for PS now, and I do(if you look, I mention it in the first post), it costs me something like £3.50 a month, and for that, I get beta access to the big shooter looter of the day, I don't care about stadia giving you access to little nightmares, PS now give you access to hundreds, maybe thousands of games. I'm comparing the attractiveness to the average gamer of on the one hand, free play days to Borderlands 3,on the other hand, either fu ll access to Borderlands 3, or beta access to Outriders, if you don't understand that, I can't help you.
I see a lot of projection in your posts, you're accusing me of exactly what you are doing, taking things out of context and saying "I'm right". At this point, you may as well be shouting "I'm rubber... See more...
I see a lot of projection in your posts, you're accusing me of exactly what you are doing, taking things out of context and saying "I'm right". At this point, you may as well be shouting "I'm rubber and you are glue" to me. I never said that PS now and pro or Xbox game pass were free, just that pound for pound, stadia I pro is giving away free days, whilst the playstation is giving away the game (among with countless other games etc) and xbox is giving beta access to the big shooter looter of the day (again, along with countless other games. Also if you pay for PS now and plus yearly, they come combined to almost half of Stadia Pro (assuming you have the intellect to buy the passes on offer from CDkeys.com. You can try and insult my intellect all day long, it's just making you look petty, and throwing a fit because you're angry and don't seem to know how to process your emotions, so insult me, it won't change the fact that Stadia isn't doing so well, and all the fanboys like you in the world, that will put up with the poor service they provide will not save them, because for everyone of you, there are a hundred of me, and I'm someone who wanted to see stadia succeed for gods sake!

@Reddeviluk When I said prove me wrong, I was clearly talking about stadia being outperformed by xbox and playstation, not one specific sentence, that you twisted into involving a game I never mentioned. If it wasn't clear for you before, I'll try again, prove me wrong that Stadia hasn't been mismanaged, that it hasn't lost so many users, that it's resorted to giving away CCUs and controllers free at least twice, tell me that codename Sabrina wasn't mismanaged, with devs saying that it would be stadia compatible at launch, guess what, I own 4 of them that sit unused, because the triple layer OS, kills stadia, and the devs don't seem to know how to fix it. I'll make it very simple, prove me wrong, that you're not just better off investing into a playstation or Xbox than Stadia, As someone mentioned, I've been quiet for weeks, but when the big news is free play days on a game playstation are just giving away, then I say hey, xbox have beta access to Outriders, one of the big games at the moment, but stadia have free play games on Borderlands 3, wow, can you not see the difference between the 2?   Edit. You clearly tried to "own" me, you did it in the way you pointed out a typo, in your first post, as if it somehow lessened the point I made, and you did it again, when you "proved me wrong" by using a quite from my first post, before you had even mentioned little nightmares, as if I was directly comparing the two, that's how you "twisted" what I said.

The streaming aspect of Stadia is vastly overrated, without the game (and player) base to back it up, and guess what it's missing, games, and players.

@Reddeviluk Saying "you're wrong", and trying to twist something I quoted into meaning something else doesn't work, I wasn't talking about little nightmares, I was talking about borderlands, and Outriders, and good for you if you never make the odd typo by mistake, personally, I have big hands, and pressing tiny buttons occasionally results in an error. You really showed me how stadia is outperforming the other platforms by giving away "free play days", on a game that playstation are just giving away. You can't "own" me like this, rather, you're making yourself look like the child that you are kind of implying I am.   When I said prove me wrong, I was clearly talking about the vast difference between a Stadia gaming experience, and that of one on either side playstation or Xbox, but it's ok, I'll let you have a small victory, when I talk about stadia giving away free play days for a game playstation are just giving away, to xbox giving beta access to a brand new game, you can twist it so little nightmares is somehow relevant, good one, you must have had to think really hard to get that gem out. Anyone sensible, clearly knows what I'm talking about.

@DaChoupana II completely agree, that's why Stadia needs to learn from playstation and xbox, and what they should be doing, is basically stealing their platforms, and just changing them enough to be legally distinct. The idea that they're going to create a new type of platform, just means that they are going to run into years of **bleep** ups like platforms like Sega did, remember the Megadrive/Genesis (name may vary depending on where you lived at the time), it was Nintendos main competitor, the **bleep** ups they made, destroyed Sega, almost destroyed Nintendo (and turned them into a niche platform), leaving the sharks Microsoft and playstation to dominate the market. Instead of learning from this history, and putting out a platform that is proven to work, stadia is metaphorically walking blindly towards a cliff.

Sorry, but this is just such good timing, I just got an email from playstation Now, informing me that, among other things, I now have complete access to Borderlands 3, the whole game, Stadia are offering "free play days". Do other people see my point? Stadia NEED to do better, to COMPETE, to offer a service that doesn't make me laugh at how half assed everything is! It's either that, or get ready for no Stadia at all.

@DaChoupana  I point out what I see as being bad in-stadia because I'm invested in it, if they do good, I'll say well done, I want stadia to work, I want the keyboard, mouse and pc software that they were talking about months and months ago before they dropped in house development. in short, I wanted to be able to do my accounts on stadia, I wanted to use photoshop, and chrome on stadia. what I got, was a badly run games platform only, and that seems to be being managed straight into the toilet. I am however invested in stadia, you don't abandon things that you're invested in if you had a child who was behaving badly, would you abandon him, and go to your well-behaved child, or would you point out the bad behaviour? if you take my comments about the vast difference between how stadia is doing and other platforms as hate, you couldn't be more wrong, it's disappointment, disappointment in something that I thought was going to be special, and ended up letting me down in almost every aspect, but hey, Amazon are on the case now, and they'll probably get it done right in half the time, with the added bonus of telling people about its features etc.

@Reddeviluk I'm comparing a few free days of an old game, to beta access to a brand new one.  You can try and twist it anyway you want, but what the Xbox and playstation offer for their monthly fee, is vastly better (in quality, quantity and communication with the customer base) than what stadia offer.  Prov e me wrong, show me the error of my ways, please, I'd honestly love for all this to be some kind of misunderstanding, and that tomorrow I'd wake up, and find stadia is a wonderful service.    Oh and PS, yes I do the occasional typo, I'm 6'4,it's difficult for me to press just one button on my oneplus 8 pro screen (which apart from a tablet, is about as big as phones get), that and auto correct, means sometimes, I'll make an error when typing, if that's your best comeback to defend the actions s tadia has taken since launch, it's pretty weaksauce.

I really can't even be bothered to think up anything to say about this news, apart from I'm playing Outriders on the Xbox, and I haven't paid a penny. It's not a special demo to show off the game, I'm just playing the beta game, and anyone with an xbox game pass can do the same. What playstation and the Xbox are doing, is destroying stadia, with the game pass, I can cloud stream, play games on the console, or on my PC, sure, it costs a couple of pounds more (but the playstation costs less if you pay yearly (even less if you use websites like CDkeys etc), but what you get for your money is not at all comparable, and for those saying you still can't get a console, there are plenty of places with the Series S in stock, I'd say it's worth it until you can buy a Series X, then you can stick one in the bedroom. Stadia is dying, and things like this post, are it's death throws, it could of been great, but the suits may as well have put the metaphorical bullet to the back of its head with their mismanagement. Sigh, so disappointing. So disappointed.

After a quick look at how Sabrina works, compared to the CCU, the problem seems to be with the three tier software / OS of the device, and if that's the case, I don't think it's going to be solved anytime soon. So thanks Google, I have 4 Sabrina, that aren't as good as my pre existing fire TV cubes, when you take away Stadia. Another spectacular fail for Google and stadia!
Seriously, Stadia, how badly do you want a search bar, I could have an old employee knock one up for you in no time for a couple of thousand pounds, it's not a difficult thing to impliment?
@TaK Same place it's always been, playstations.
@gastre Yep, and it's just as unfair, and unexplainable today as its always been.

@Squeak_Easy Maybe, and hear me out here, maybe some people rely on their parents for money, who will not just pay for their kids game on the condition that if they don't like it in 2 hours, they can get a refund, that's a recipe for a family drama that will last forever. Also, maybe not everyone is just sitting on disposable capital 24/7, maybe some people have to save up to buy games, so if stadia want to sell games, they should try to get people hooked with "free days", or "demos" as the rest of the world calls them, eg, Dragon Quest has had a "demo" free on the playstation since December. Grammar Nazi rant to follow. You only ever need one exclamation point, even if you're exclaiming a question, just one exclamation point and no question mark will do.
For some reason the song  In the Year 2525 springs to mind.

I would imagine they will bring cross play like with the Xbox and pc servers, you can adjust the server settings, spawn rates, xp, gather, breeding etc, and you may be able to code dropboxes from the PC side, but that will be it. And like you say, without cross play, the stadia player base will result in empty servers and reduce Ark to a single player game. The people who have been watching twitch streamers playing modded Ark are in for a big surprise when they find exactly how limited vanilla Ark is, and just like the playstation and xbox versions, will not be anything close to as well received as on steam. You are right though, stadia desperately needs games like this to build a community, if there are still enough active players to make it viable.
