Nearly every game they ever announce is some yawner that nobody wants to play and CERTAINLY won't help bring friends to Stadia.  Hell, I GIFTED a Pro subscription to a friend and couldn't even get him to stick around past the trial because THERE ARE NO GOOD MULTIPLAYER GAMES HERE.  Where is Warzone, Stadia? That game can push a PC pretty hard, so many, many players would love to have an alternative to spending gobs of $$$ upgrading their PC constantly. Stadia would be the perfect non-console alternative, and I'm certain I could get 4-5 people to join Stadia for that one game alone, but no. We get a bunch of literal NOTHING games that nobody cares a whiff about.
Stadia needs Warzone. That's the list.

Why is Doom Eternal full price on Stadia when it's on sale on every other platform FROM THE MANUFACTURER? This is what irritates the hell out of me about this platform.
Silly people asking them to support more phones. How do you think they're going to get people to buy Pixel phones if you can play Stadia on other devices?

We're already paying for the Pro subscription, and I'm using Android 10.  I could easily root my phone and play it that way, so why not give me a legit way to do it? Makes no sense.

@GraceFromGoogle - what's the deal with playing Stadia games on non-Pixel phones? This is clearly not a technical limitation, since there are numerous blogs out there telling people how they can trick Stadia into working on their phones if they have root access, so is this just a ploy to try to push people to purchase Google phones? Since we''re paying for Pro subscriptions, why not just let us all play as long as we have, say, an Android 10 phone?  At a minimum, can you give us more information about WHEN it will be available to play on other devices?

I'm going to be at a hotel with a captive network this weekend, so I'll find out.

Yes, there are games that I get for free with my XBox Gamepass subscription (for instance, Rage 2) that Google is asking full price for if we want to play it, and there are games that are available much cheaper on Steam. (Although Assassin's Creed Ultimate seems to be a good deal on Stadia).

I've been able to determine that most of the display issues I've been experiencing are due primarily to the video card I was using. I've been in the process of rebuilding my primary PC this week, so I was using an alternate that I have. The two PCs are identically configured, with the exception that the alternate is used mostly for business and doesn't have a great video card installed.  It's a Radeon HD 8570, which isn't a great card. I've been experiencing a great deal of lag and very poor graphics performance with my Stadia settings set to Best Visual Quality.  Last night, I turned it down to the Balanced setting, and it was better, but not what I was hoping for.  So, probably the video card. However, Google hasn't given us required specs for video cards. This is what Google says you need to run Stadia on Chrome: A Google account Not compatible with Google for Work, Google for Education, and certain other managed Google accounts Stadia Founder's Edition, Premiere Edition, or a Stadia Buddy Pass A computer with a recent version of Chrome browser Update your Google Chrome browser if needed The Stadia app (available on Google Play or in the Apple App Store®) The Android version requires a mobile device running Android 6.0 or greater The iOS version requires a mobile device running iOS 11.0 or greater A reliable internet connection (10 Mbps or greater is recommended) A Stadia Controller, a mouse and keyboard, a Playstation® DualShock® 4 Controller, an Xbox One® Controller, or another supported controller. Note that there's nothing about video card capabilities or specs. These specs seem to mesh with what I think most of us think about Stadia - that it's largely hardware independent since the games are running on Google's servers and we're just seeing display output.  This morning, I finished with the primary computer, which doesn't have the most current card installed, either, but it's a GeForce GTX 970 that I play a lot of games with at very acceptable settings. Well, what do you know? Playing Tomb Raider on Stadia on THIS card at the "Best Visual Quality" setting results in a smooth and largely fuzz-free playing experience. It's like night and day.  So Google, I think you need to make this clear, that the video card we have installed in our PCs needs to meet some minimum spec in order to have an acceptable gameplay experience.

I'm in Miami on an AT&T fiber connection. My PC that I'm playing on is hardwired to the router. I had a thought last night that it might have something to do with my anti-virus suite, but I disabled that completely and the issue with Tomb Raider got worse, if anything. I've got another PC that I'm going to try on today.

I have to echo pretty much what DougEFresh said. I live in Miami, and I have a very fast connection. Fast.com gives me 590Mbps down/350Mbps up with only 4ms latency unloaded, 14ms loaded. That kicks ass.   Stadia's connection test says the following: Your connection is great. Based on your current download speed of   396.066 Mbps, we expect you’ll have a high-performance gaming experience on Stadia.   However, I am constantly lagging and noticing the entire screen become very pixelized. I'm playing through Chrome on a Windows 10 PC with great specs (though this shouldn't matter that much) on a 1920x1080 monitor that looks fantastic with standard PC games. It's almost unplayable the way it is, and I'm not going to buy even one more game if this isn't fixed quickly.    Maybe the experience on Chromecast Ultra on my TV will be significantly different. If it is, then I'd say that Stadia on Chrome browser is not ready for prime time.    Oh, and why does my PC mouse pointer always have to be on screen? It's always there, right in the middle of the screen.

Yes, I got my code yesterday. I've been playing Tomb Raider as well as Destiny 2.  I have to say that Destiny 2 is very, very confusing. That game needs a good tutorial.  As for Tomb Raider, even moreso than Destiny 2, the game is nearly unplayable because of the lag and pixelized graphics which happen constantly. I have a very fast connection which even Stadia says is over 300Mbps and should give me a great connection, but I constantly see the entire screen go very pixelized as if I'm playing a very low resolution on a large TV.  I'm only playing on a 1920x1080 monitor through Chrome. I'm hoping that this is something that they're going to tweak and fix very quickly. If not, my time here will be very limited.
I'm hoping someone from Google can answer this - will there be game-specific forums here where we can discuss major games, tactics, gameplay, bugs, etc?

You're not missing a whole lot at this point, other than picking your name, which I know is a big freaking deal. Google really crapped the bed on this one.
You can go to the Character Select screen, which actually logs you out of the current game you're playing. From there, press and hold ESC and you'll get a prompt to Exit the game.

Oh, I almost forgot...  Check your order status on the Google store. I got an email a couple of days ago telling me that my payment method had failed. I think the credit card I ordered with in June had expired. I had to update it. If you're in the same boat your kit won't ship.
