They have accepted the refund and I don't think Stadia can get the money back. I had the same situation and asked the bank to transfer the funds to my new bank.
They did that without issues. Hope your old bank want you back as a customer in the future by helping you out.

If you are new to Stadia it is not possible to register anymore for Stadia. So if you dont have an account you will not be able to login and check out the games.

The creditcard I used for most of my payment was also not active. After reaching out the bank they saw all the refunds and transfered the money to my bankaccount.
