Are you sure that your internet disconnects or do you just assume this? I'm asking because I had a similar issue, but my controller doesn't disconnect.  My issue is, that the stream freezes or becomes black and my controller works fine until my CCU denies the controller connection. When I press "stop stream" in the Google Home App, I can immediately launch Stadia with my controller, despite Stadia itself telling me that I have no controller conencted, and continue playing immediately without having to pair the controller (because it was never disconnected in the first place). The next time when your stream freezes/becomes black, could you try stopping the stream via Google Home app and see if you can relaunch Stadia without reconnecting your controller from Chromecast Homescreen?

I wish they had such plans, but they appearently don't plan this. There are rumors, that CCU Gen 2 will have mouse/keyboard support, but take this with a grain of salt. Ppl over there on Reddit seem to be pretty salty when you criticise the lack of M/K support, so I think, that most Stadia players just prefer things as they are, even if there would be no downside on additional input methods.  Send feedback in the app, I would appreciate having more resonance. There are ppl that play on a monitor instead of a TV and there are ppl, that play on TV but sit on a desk, so this would definitely be a good opportunity to attract PC players, that simply can't handle aiming via controller. Thanks for your support!

Re: Gaming sucks

You're asking google why iPad pro was created?.. It's an Apple store issue, go ask Apple. There is no Steam on Stadia as there is no steam for PS/Xbox.  Get well

Hi, I had Chromecast issues and now, I've found out something, that I didn't realize  I'm In-gearlier. When I'm In-game, sometimes my stream freezes and crashes. When I press the Stadia button on my controller, I can still navigate through the Stadia in-game menu without input lag, so my controller has a working connection. After 20-30 seconds, my CCU says "link a stadia controller" and shows me the pairing button combo, even if my controller is  still connected and didn't disconnect. If I'd try to restart the controller to repair it, it wouldn't be able to reconnect to my device and even if it would connect, the "link your Stadia controller" pop up wouldn't disappear.  Usually, I factory reset my CCU+Controller or restart it when this happens, but this time I opened the Google Home app and pressed the "quit stream" button. My controller stayed connected, despite Stadia was denying it. When Stadia closed, I could simply restart stadia via controller, so my controller definitely has no issue and it's the Chromecast having issues.    Please fix this @StadiaTeam, I have to do this way too often. Sometimes it's once a day or even multiple times a day. Despite this, it's running extremely good on my CCU. Is there any way to help fixing this?

So I've decided to buy a CCU days ago, but want to wait until the next generation of CCU is released. Then I thought, why not buying the actual CCU before the next gen is released because it wouldn't be that expensive and I'd really like to get that controller, so I've started reading some reviews about Stadia and CCU. Now there is that little tiny fact, that immediately suspended my demand: CCU has no K/M support. I really love playing games via gamepad, but when it's a game, where you need to aim, I'd never play it without k/m. I've tried it several times playing Tomb Raider/Seriou Sam, but I am just horrible at that and feel entirely limited when aiming with a thumbstick. Is there any special kind of keyboard and mouse, that works similar to the Stadia Gamepad? Or is there any official statement regarding k/b support in future Chromecast generations? Afaik, the next CCU will have full Android support, but when playing Stadia on mobile, I realised, that the app doesn't support k/m as on PC. When trying the Android chrome app in desktop mode, the keyboard works without any issues, but the Android mouse pointer isn't recognized by the Stadia webpage.  Thanks in advance, I really hope that I find a way to use something else than controllers for Chromecast or Android devices.
