I see! Well one thing that helped me get smooth gameplay over WiFi was to use a WiFi analyzer app to find a clear channel and then go into the router settings to switch to that channel. It's especially important if you live in a congested area with lots of neighbors. I do this whenever I plan to play for a while on WiFi.  Also blocking the mic permission in chrome for Stadia.com helps, but that might be just a Chromebook issue.  Also, making sure you are running with no extensions, nothing open except Stadia, and NOTHING running in the background.  Hope something here helps.
Support for Android TV is definitely coming. Just no word on when. What's more, the next generation of Chromecast Ultra will have the AndroidTV OS built in and will no doubt have native Stadia support.
It is 100% Apple's fault because of their app store restrictions.
@Matt1 The new expansion coming on Sept 22 is available for preorder. Doing this gives you a few small perks.
Restart your router and your computer. See if the problems persist.
Are you starting games with the controller? When I do that, this happens. If I tap on the touchscreen or use the mouse to click on the play button, it doesn't have this problem.
Works just fine on my Samsung Chromebook Pro with 4gb RAM.
What seems to be the trouble @andresvia ?
Wireless controller is supported now on all devices. Where are you unable to use the controller wirelessly?
That will run Stadia OK with lowest/limited graphics settings of 720p. If you have a budget for it, getting a higher resolution machine with vp9 hardware decoding would give you much nicer graphics.

I play Stadia on a Windows computer and on a Chromebook. They both work well, though it took a little troubleshooting to get it working on the Chromebook. The biggest consideration is graphics and portability. It would be nice to have a lightweight, fanless machine with a nice screen. Ideally at least 1440p screen with vp9 hardware decoding. Though if 1080p is the only resolution you want to run, then it doesn't really matter what you get. What's your budget?
The 1080 stream is really compressed. If you force the 4k stream with Stadia+, and your machine is capable of decoding it, you'll get much better graphics.
The hardware might not be capable enough. Some of these tablets are really underpowered. I can't run it on a cheapo Samsung tablet either.
Find a clear WiFi channel. Restart router. Disable all extensions. Make sure Microphone permission is BLOCKED for Stadia.

I play Stadia with a Windows PC connected to a 1080p TV in my living room. (Or on my Chromebook if I'm in another room.) I like my TV just fine, and didn't really want to buy a 4K TV yet just to improve the look of Stadia. But, I only had integrated graphics, so couldn't force 4K. I got a GT 1030 card for $80, though, and I'm glad I did it. I changed my desktop size to 4k resolution, and now Stadia feeds me the 4k stream. It looks TONS better. I know that lots of people wish the 1080 stream used more bandwidth to provide a better quality image. That would have been ideal, but anyway, I'm glad I can use the 4k stream now. I see a huge difference even though my TV isn't actually 4k. Maybe when Android TV can run Stadia natively, I'll buy a new TV. In the meantime, this was a good compromise.

OMG. So I've been posting about my saga getting Stadia to work with my Chromebook. I was usb tethering my phone to deal with the stuttering of image and sound with my Chromebook. The PC has ethernet and was always perfect. This week I realized that at my girlfriend's house, I could play without tethering the phone, but still at my place, I had to tether. Finally dawned on me that changing the WiFi channel on my router might help since I live in an apartment in a very crowded area. OMG, it's night and day! No more problems! Something with the phone's WiFi radio gave it better performance than the Chromebook's radio. But now that I'm on a clear channel, the Chromebook radio does just fine. Phew, no more workarounds needed! Easiest app I found for figuring out what channel to use is WiFi Analyzer by "farproc" on the Google Play store. It has a screen that lets you easily see what channels are clear. Hallelujah!
Oh and the most important one!!! Go into site settings, and make sure you have the Microphone permission BLOCKED for Stadia.
