Stadia has never disappointed. Time and again I find that it exceeds my gaming expectations in all kinds of environments and devices that I would not expect it to. We've used it as an entertainment amenity for our business customers, who love it. The family plan allows our kids to enjoy all my games without completely breaking the bank. We can play on older machines, and our more powerful machines don't need to turn on their fans to run 4k graphics- which extends the life of their graphics cards. I can play my game ANYWHERE with Google Fi data or with decent wifi, a decent phone and a Bluetooth controller (optional). A favorite memory for me was waiting in the VA Detroit lobby for my wife to finish a lengthy doctor appointment, using their public wifi, playing Division 2. No lag. No problems at all. Another was when a friend said there was no way his 6-year-old notebook could play 4k games these days. So I showed him! I've even played on an airplane with their in-flight wifi before! Stadia is truly awesome! I'll never buy a $600 console again! They're not only more expensive, but they're not even remotely as portable. Furthermore, when people see Stadia... they think of games. It's the fact that my cell phone can play a monstrous game like Cyberpunk 2077 and then immediately log into Elder Scrolls Online that has me believing the tech implications go WAY beyond games. For example, robots will no longer need to store software physically on themselves in order to perform their function, as long as they can receive instruction. At least, nowhere near as much. Stadia is a demonstration of a potential revolution in robotics, and a reason why I believe that in spite of its shortcomings, it's not going ANYWHERE.
