Any chance of us getting a wireless mouse and keyboard that's stadia specific? That's compatible with Chromecast Ultra? Currently the only method I can use mouse/keyboard is if I play on PC or link my laptop to television. Problem is the Chromecast streaming, graphically is much better.
Probably a game I already bought  lol Kine, lost world or trials would be my guess. Probably trials

So funny story but it proves the point of the uninformed mind-set. I was on video chat attempting to set up a friend pass for a long time gaming buddy of mine on the other side of the country. Actual conversation transcript" Me, *directs friend to the stadia website and app* *tells her specifically to read up on Stadia and watch youtube feature videos* Her, " Ok I got the app downloaded, buddy code is used" Me, " Ok great now link the controller to your ultra or connect via computer" *ten minutes later she comes back to the screen* Her, "Yeah I don't get this. Where do I download the games?". "Why can't I link my steam games?" Me, *SIGH* " You don't download the games they are streamed to you. Steam is it's own entity, google doesn't own steam." Her, "This is stupid, I thought this was like NetFlix. Why would I pay twice for the same games I have on steam?" Me, *Even larger SIGH* " Who friggin told you it was netflix of games? Her, "Nobody I just assumed it by how it was advertised. It came across as a streaming service with monthly subscription" Me, "As for the buying. You've been buying parts for your new computer off of new egg for a year now right? You still have 2,400$ to go to even complete your rig, which will be almost obsolete by the time you build it" Her, "Yea so?" Me, "This streams at maximum settings and up to 4k. You are sitting on 3 gig line.... I bet you right now, if you boot up Destiny 2 it looks better than your current PC that you paid 4,700$ for 2 years ago." *Watches her boot up Destiny 2* Her, " ok that loaded fast"... "So I feel kinda retarded for spending all this money on parts suddenly" Me, "yep. Imagine no "hackers" ruining your multi player games?.  * I instructed her to switch to her phone app and connect the controller* Her, "YOU GOTTA BE **bleep****** ME? It loaded the game just like that?!" Her, "This is seriously the end of computer rigs" My point is, she watched 3 youtube videos, went to the official stadia site and had virtually no idea the gravity OF the features. She "understood them" and just figured it was like "netflix" and wasn't all that big of a deal. I believe the features of what the service offers differently needs to be advertised hardcore. This platform needs to pull people away from or subscribe as an alternate source of entertainment.

Friend of mine wants a guide to all the currently active features with the controller and things that aren't yet enabled. Pairing to phone without wired connection, etc.

Couple that will Stadia Exclusives and insane discount prices those numbers will come.
Thanks Codesplice.

So years ago, I remember google coming out with an MMO called Ingress ( but it was android based, had users walking around the world). I assume this project got scrapped? *EDIT* Updated. Apparently it's still going with active user-base.  I got to thinking. Why can't google make an MMO that's stadia platform exclusive?. Where are the pitfalls and up-sides to doing this?  Anyone who has stepped foot in the MMO genre and especially those who I dub "Legend Veterans" who have been in the forefront since Ultima Online (1998) and on knows the MMO scene was on it's last legs in the United States back in 2004. When wow launched, it engorged the market but now it's starting to fall back into the niche market.  The MMO Market is daunting because you have to grab the attention of the veteran gamer's who absolutely hate anything and everything to do with easy item gains, linear story and SEASON PASSES... and yet appeal to the newer "younger" crowd who only know of season passes, loot boxes and being overhauled with gratitude trophies.  However I feel that if google can land a strategic MMO, market and advertise it for stadia exclusive.... even offer it for free if they subscribe to stadia. (Right now your advertisements don't appeal to anyone because it's too generalized.) Your marketing teams really really really need to rethink it's advertising. SHOW OFF your features in those ads.  Also I have a strong feeling that a particular company (we all know who) is working on another major MMO launch and mobile launch. Which will cause another flux of players being brought back into the genre. I predict by 2023 - We will see a new launch that will reintroduce an extra 10+ Million gamers back into the field of MMORPG and mobile usage. Model could follow: [Stadia free]  Platform to Socialize with Friends and Clans Buy Games Be Gifted Games Free Friends and Clan Chat Up to 1080p Streaming [Stadia Pro] 9.99 Free Games Discounts Streaming up to 4k Increased capacity of video and image store. Up to 2,500 items Google Stream Elite Software - Instantly stream and submit files to YouTube and other platforms. [Stadia Elite] 19.99 [Included with Pixel Pass Purchase] ++ All the benefits of pro Free Season Passes to google exclusive games (MMO or Otherwise) Google Play Rewards can be used for in-game bonuses YouTube subscription added YouTube Music Added Free Google Play points each month Dedicated Clan Features Unique character icons/avatars etc [Stadia Platinum] 39.99 All the benefits of elite Capcom + Ubisoft + Exclusive Early Release Entries and Beta Access Platforms   If you want Stadia to be a success -- You must incorporate GOOGLE PLAY and vice-versa. I'm very confused how these two entities are not merged.  People who are invested in stadia are also invested into google platforms, google home and other means.
I actually disagree with this. Discord is invasive and the UI is atrocious. A simple overlay that runs off friends list/clan list is all that's needed. Google can make their own.
They should advertise that!!!.  Also I think it would be cool to ADD previous games subscribers got after (x) amount of months as a pro member.  For concurrent subscribers off special rewards. Etc. ... See more...

While I'd love to promote this product further.... Crossplay is rather bad for stadia as one of it's primary selling points is it's hack free status.    But to each their own. My son would love it.... See more...

I ran into the same issue on Destiny 2. Even had my own clan. Raids just didn't happen
In a round about way I agree with this. However, instead of just giving us YouTube upgrade.... They could bundle YouTube, Google music and stadia (change stadia to a 3 tier system).
I don't golf IRL because I'm fat. So this golf game will do perfectly!
Sad to say I think you may be right. I have faith though. I really enjoy this platform and as long continual improvements are made, it should be fine.
Thanks for the advice

This mentality baffles me. If you owned a PS4 and bought an XBOX 360 -- You wouldn't expect the same game to transfer. If you owned Google Play movies and installed Hulu. Had Infinity wars on google play but was upset because you didn't want to pay again on Hulu, you wouldn't expect Hulu to just give you the title. Stadia is it's own entity, just like GeForce Now is and all the other platforms coming out.  Steam is it's own entity. If you want 50 games at random each month that rotate out with your saved progress, Nvidia now is for you. This platform gives you tomb raider on Pro anyways - So get pro. Matter of fact it's fairly generous with Pro. Could be better, but I'm not complaining.  I just don't understand where this logic comes from.
They are working on this as far as I know. :). Little patience. I've been waiting on it also

So here's the thing. I love this platform. I prefer a mix of solo games and multiplayer. Right now, I am digging cruising through FF15. However; I got this platform at launch, created a clan in Destiny 2 and it was near impossible to get any raids going.    So where's my primary concerns? 1.) Stadia will have to rely on cross-play in order to attempt to bring in any other players or supplement the long queue times in multiplayer games. 2.) Stadia will continue to launch games ( multiplayer) and further stretch out the player-base. Essentially diluting the ability to create a social presence footprint. So what's the next movie Google? There are tons of negative reviews (and a few good) and aside from all that, even the negative reviews tout of the POTENTIAL this platform can have.  Where's the ace up the sleeve that we aren't hearing about? What's going to pull in some of those user bases? Let alone getting people off steam?. I personally feel you guys should invest heavily into a MMO that's stadia exclusive. Heck, I will lead the design team. I used to co own a game design development team. Something that will siphon people into the platform and pay that 9.99 for the small boosts. Which brings me to another point and idea: [Stadia platform PRO offering exclusive game offerings, outfits, quests etc]. That are 100% stadia exclusive. I know you are already doing this for a few games..... but I feel this should be a universal bonus. Just something that gets people thinking about where the platform is going. As a career, I build foundations of companies and essentially help their quality and regulatory aspects shape up. I think it's time you show the strength of your foundation platform but start adding the true fluff that people want.
