I have never been able to get stadia running correctly in my home. My chrome cast Ultra is connected to my home network via Ethernet and  I have a decent connection speed and am with Sky Fiber (UK ISP) Could the fact that I am using Netgear Gigabit network switches be causing an issue?? My Sky modem/router is connected to a network switch in the attic, which in turn is connected to all the different Ethernet sockets in my house. One of these sockets is behind the TV in the living room where there are multiple devices, so that is again connected to a network switch that the Chromecast Ulta (along with my ATV, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Sky set top box) is connected up to.  So yeah, can’t find any official advice on Network Switches + Stadia usage, but wanted to know if it is what’s causing the stuttering, blocking, and poor connection warnings!   thanks

Anyone else have this? The game looked fine, until I saw it was also on Xbox game pass so booted it up on my Xbox just as a comparison. That's when I noticed the vast differences in colour between the Xbox and Stadia version! On Xbox, the game looks amazing and the colours "pop", on Stadia the whole game looks washed out by comparison. And this has nothing to do with compression. I had a try fiddling with the Gamma setting, but even at its lowest setting, you cant get the logo to be barely visible. So looking online, it seems this is a known bug in the PC version! And the colours will briefly be corrected during certain lighting effects , or during the putting on or removing of the gas mask animation. On PC people have overcome this by fiddling around in the Nvidia control panel etc. But on Stadia, we obviously don't have any way of fiddling around with the settings like that So, anyone else have this? I uploaded a video to YouTube showing the problem. The washed out effect is exaggerated by my phones camera, but shows the issue very well, and how it fixes briefly during lightning flashes and also removing the game mask. https://youtu.be/V41UlaRZUFQ I also tweeted 4AGames and Stadia, but no response so far. https://twitter.com/Spoonablehippo/status/1234471219254132738?s=20

I purchased Stadia PRO via a buddy pass, so ordered a standalone controller to go with it. But I have decided I want the chromecast ultra etc, so want to return the standalone controller so I can order the Stadia Premier edition pack. (works out cheaper buying the premier pack than buying controller and chromecast separately) But on the returns window it says that returning my controller will cancel my PRO subscription!!! Is that right?? Its just a standalone controller.
