@Classic-Rando Xbox and PlayStation are frantically trying to keep their player base. They see what Google is doing with cloud gaming and understand that if they don't pivot fast, they are done for. Xbox game pass is not free, you pay a monthly fee for it just like Stadia pro. Plus you needed to invest several hundred dollars on a console... The downfall of those systems is data storage, you still need to download and store all of those games on your console or PC. Pretty sure COD warzone is now larger than an Xbox hard drive.. meaning if you don't have a ton of external storage you can essentially only play a single game. That is why I left Xbox.. I had game pass and it was great, but I hated deleting games so I could try something new. With Stadia you don't worry about that. I have close to 100 games on Stadia now and I can play any of them at a moments notice, from anywhere, on any device. Bottom line, I don't think Google is worried about Stadia failing, people will catch on eventually and understand they are getting screwed with the old school consoles. It just takes some people a little longer to catch up to reality.
