I'm not sure what part of Chufu's response was insightful and it certainly was not the solution to my problem. In fact, it really quite frustrated me and was kind of the crummy answer you get from customer service when they're talking to you like your're an idiot. I've been working in IT for 20 years and I don't report a problem without first making sure it isn't something I did. Of course I read that in the original announcement, but family sharing was clearly being offered to me in the app. It clearly was trying to let me sign up, but then something went wrong. To follow up, the problem continued to occur for the next day or so. Finally, on a whim, I deleted and recreated my family group. After that, things worked fine. There is definitely some sort of bug in the system, and more importantly probably an error message that isn't being reported that should be. It's pretty frustrating for the error message to be effectively, "It didn't work".

Hi Stadia, Thanks for adding Family Sharing finally. This has made me a happy camper. However, when I try to set it up, I get the following error: Oops! Something went wrong, please wait awhile then try again.   Is this expected? Is this likely to resolve itself?   Cheers, captbunzo

I had a great time playing with the demo for Immortals Fenyx Rising yesterday. I would absolutely buy it in a moment. However, I am hesitant to spend any more money on Stadia games until families sharing is available. Why in the world should I have to buy a game twice so that my son and I can both play it on our separate stadia accounts? This is also why I haven't bought the Avengers game or any others in the past few months. Get this fixed Stadia and your profits will increase.
@Deleted User @Ofi Apologies, pandemic time it felt like longer than that. My bad.

So you pump up this Good Stuff thing and then release literally none of the features that your long-term members have been waiting for? This is an embarrassment.  Come on now, give us some family sharing, direct to YouTube streaming, in app parties and messaging, and support for the new Chromecast device!
No worries about moving my post of course. However, can you maybe reply to my actual topic as well?

Hi, So I'd like to ask when are we really going to get family sharing? The recent discussion on what we're looking forward to in Stadia clearly showed that this is the far and above number one feature that is needed. I'm sure all of the other founders are just as tired as I am of getting the "stay tuned" response. I mean I appreciate that you respond pretty quickly to people's tweets and stuff, but the response just makes me frustrated. Can we please get a more specific timeline? And actually while I'm at it, can I please suggest that you folks at Stadia think about releasing details expected timelines for features we've been waiting on? I'm in IT and know that sometimes timelines don't work out. However, I am sure there must be plans as to what features will be coming over the next 6 months plus. It would make the community in general feel a lot better if you guys gave us some idea on what was coming and when we could expect it. Don't get me wrong from the negativity here, I am loving Stadia and think it's a fantastic platform. Jumping in on the founders edition was one of the best decisions I've made in the past couple years. However, the communication could be better considering we are all effectively investors in this platform. We bought it at the beginning and if you're in this forum, I assume that means you're still paying for the monthly subscription. I bought countless games, though foolishly because I really only play Destiny 2. Anyhow, communicate better with the community and that will pay in spades. Cheers, captbunzo
