Honestly they hard to beat. Sure the service has its downfalls  ( none of which is lag related for me personally( i have over a gig/s of net) but the benefits beat any other console and even pc hands down and I own a powerful pc. I don't have to download the dumb Uplay launcher I can just play, no downloads, no updates ( except 2k20), no messaging friends ( hopefully coming soon, no streaming ( also coming at some point), just the ability for 10 pocket change dollars the ability to get 2 games  ( even though lately its been 3 and four games) free each month, I spent less than 250 on 9 games and got another 18 for free. That's hard to beat library wise

I have multiple business accounts that make up the internet of my house with the stadia, my gaming pc, and my laptop all having a dedicated gig of speed per second to each device at all times. I have top of the line router and modems as well as plated cat 6e cables. My net is not throttled and I do have symmetrical system as well. Being that this issue only persist in the stadia serve as I have seen this issue even when playing through the browser as well, I believe Stadia has lots of work to do to make it a better place to game. Instead of shifting blame to developers, The management of Stadia need to put serious work behind making stadia a great place to play. I think it's also sickening that the raid for Ghost recon has been out for three months and we have a version of the game that does not have it. On top of this there has been no updates for the game since it's release on stadia. This is true for other games like the 2K  games excluding NBA 2K20 which gets updates for player rosters and new myteam cards but not for issues concerning the actual game. 

  There is a few things you can try. One have you tried restarting the game? this could reset the controller for you so that if you moved the analog during loading the controller is not reading as walk ( insert direction) when you don't want it to.  Second you can try re powering the controller itself since  this also resets the controls being read by the cloud.  The Third is you can try changing your wifi connection type. It is know that 2ghz connections exp more issues than those using stadia via a 5ghz connection.  Another note is your internet speeds and internet allocation. If you plan to play stadia you may want to enter your router settings and allocate a dedicated amount of resources to the stadia over other devices. This helps to insure stadia receives the speed necessary for an adequate gaming exp. most people can reach their router by using a computer on that network and typing in your Ip address (please note this does not work for all routers).  

I agree even though they had ghost recon for half price up until Christmas day. The fact that we never know when they are doing sales and then they always show up outside of pay periods is kind of annoying. This is something I agree they need to work on. (I am one of the people that got GRB for half off) even though we ended up getting an older version of the game and to this day still have not received the update to play the raids.

I like your thoughts and agree on most of what your thinking but, as a side note I do have to add that the pro service says they will add "a game' each month and not games. So they are attempting to build a library faster than what was originally announced but none of this is free either. I would recommend they try and get games like the Witcher series added and even go as far as saying they should pay CD Projekt Red to do a revamped version of the 2nd game. I'm sure getting Qwent and Magic the gathering arenas ported over to stadia would be way easier than most of the games in the store now. It would also bring in the first free games to the library along with the millions of players that play each game already as is ( but in a portable form). Either way they choose to go with what they are doing I thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.

No one person's thoughts will be twisted to sell a narrative. I heard that the FPS will increase for all resolutions once google gets their hands on the rumored 2080ti killer on the rdna 2 gpus from AMD. Of course this is a rumor so take it with a grain of salt but, if you look at what Google did it would be smart and make lots of since. Start with the Vega 64 gpus on  a huge discount price when the rdna first gen is already out and wait for the big boys of RDNA from AMD with a partnered deal of course. Giving massive performance improvements over what we have right now. They also wouldn't need to upgrade the systems again until around the time consoles do and that would only be to stay ahead of them performance wise.  For me I'm shocked by how many deals AMD has done with literally every gaming console company and even sell phone companies to lock out intel and Nvidia. LOL, no of this will show or reap benefits for them until they become a household name for gaming though.

Stadia is neither a pc or a console. It has the hardware of a pc sure but, it has it's own OS much like PlayStation and Xbox does. So every game has to be customized for port to the stadia. The issue is some developers ( yes you Ubisoft) take the lazy way out and tend to used a crude version of the pc port version on stadia. This si why in games like Breakpoint you have so many issues with the game. Like GUI ones ( ability menu). If the devs actually took the time to make a real port for stadia all games would play like Destiny does. But most companies ( I said devs before but its actually the publishers who are to blame) want to put in as little work as possible while gaining as much profit as possible. The plus side is as stadia grows and more people realize the benefits of having it. It'll force the Publishers and Developers to put in the work for a great experience on stadia to capitalize on the consumers that use it.

I see what your saying but, from the eyes of a young developer as myself I can't see them waiting for the base versions release. These things need testing and lots of it and it would be more beneficial to release to us before it's free so the kinks can be worked out. The issue is not if they are working on the features but the lack of communication with the community on what's in the pipeline, a time frame even if not exact or needs to be pushed back, and the direction they intend to take with stadia.

Xbox Xcloud pic Believe me Xcloud sucks. I have the service and outside of it having more games nothing else is better about it. The connection regardless of which type you have is horrible. I tried 2ghz, 5ghz, 4g lte, 4g, 3g and my connection regardless was horrible. Mind you my home network is multiple business connections all over 1gig. I tried Xcloud on multiple phones as well. From my Cat S31, Samsung S9 plus, and two cheaper phones I have by Samsung around the $60 dollar marker. There was tons of artifacting going on and the connection would drop constantly. Even when I used the service on my Ipad pro 6 I would see the same issues arise. I would say it's my devices but, I have perfect connections in other games like Pubg, Fortnite, and Call of duty mobile, all of which I have played with the same xbox controller.

Could you elaborate more I'm kind of lost and confused by your response. Are you saying that they said stadia I not working for them but is for you or that it is not working for them and you or something different?

Ii forgot to mention even if you get it working the home button on Xbox controller will not pull up stadia overlaying screen for options and parties. You will still need a keyboard and mouse to use it by pressing shift + tab to open and close the menu.

It could be that your not using chrome browser, don't have a Windows PC, or the controller does not have the drivers for it. My controller is by Xbox via USB and it works for me but, I'm using a Windows PC, have the drivers, and using chrome browser.

I agree that's the best way but in this day in age people want to see others thoughts, experiences, and some photos and footage before being willing to take the dive. The problem with Stadia concerning that is tons of paid negative publicity by big YouTube names to sell a false narrative. I've been using the xcloud service from Microsoft and the game stream services since inception and neither have the pros of Stadia. I. Can say the same about the PSNow library and service. While the all have benefits. In comparison some offer a better exp than others. These are my thoughts and exp and in no way should be taken as a defining exp for someone else. That's why I made this post.  To take a collective of thoughts from gamers who paid for stadia and pass what they think and feel on. That's all.

Given that 2K is not the game it used to be and the shot parameters and even stats don't matter, many of the issues people exp on stadia aren't the fault of stadia but just being bad ports by the developers of said software. Most of the bad ports are 2K games like NBA 2K20, Borderlands 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 (all of which are bad ports on any system). Ubisoft's breakpoint runs ok but is behind. Update wise and full of bugs. Destiny collection, tomb raiders, thumper, Metro Exodus all run great in comparison. In fact people see the most low connection or connection issues when playing a 2K game on stadia.
