Personally I don't care for Fifa, but more games is always good. However, I think this is part of a cycle that is hard to break. EA isn't going to port a game if it doesn't make them enough money, but Stadia doesn't have that much players. So I'm curious if this is going to happen any time soon.

While true, GFN has been in beta for 3 years and you could have easily subscribed. Also, don't forget their super pricing model after this 12 month offer goes away (25 dollars per 20 hours, what a steal).   GFN and Stadia are two diferent services with different target audiences. If you already have a huge gaming library and mainly play on PC, just get GFN, that makes way more sense. If you don't play a lot of games, or just want easy access on all devices to a few games, Stadia is better (IMO, the queues on GFN have been really annoying in the beta too, as for streaming they both work about the same)

I would think this would require specific hardware, like the Stadia controller, that links to the servers directly. Chromecasts, as far as I am aware, don't have any option for direct input. While it would be cool, I feel this is too niche to actually be a viable product. The amount of people who game on a couch with a keyboard and mouse are so few.

So, you are unhappy with the model because it doesn't let you pay less than what the game actually is priced at? You make it seem like this is just a decision to make money, but you understand servers and streaming hardware aren't free right? And that developers actually want to make their money back as well? You expect to pay 1 time, and that should suffice the Google servers forever and also get Tequila Works their money? You compare it to PS+ and XBL Gold, but do you realize these are fundamentally different services? Where PS+ and XBL give you free games, once you have claimed them the only support they have to give you is maybe the occasional re-download (as with both services you can't access multiplayer features with the free tier). With Stadia, you are playing the game on hardware that isn't in your control, which you didn't have to pay for. Where Microsoft only has to deal with a download, Google actually has to give you hardware access even after your free period. Surely you can think about how your 1 month of Stadia Pro doesn't cover your unlimited access to these resources right? If you don't want to pay, that's fine. But don't make it seem like Google is pushing you away with their pricing, while in fact you are just looking for a way to exploit the system and pay as little as possible for a game. If you don't want a subscription, wait for Stadia Base (or if you already have Stadia don't resubscribe to Pro) and purchase Gylt. This way you don't have to get a subscription, but the developer gets the money they deserve (and you are unwilling to give them at this time)

Let's preface by saying I'm really hyped for Stadia, and looking forward to playing it. But the way this was handled is really concerning and really doesn't help in dealing with critics. So my issues all come down to communication, but they generally come down to: First come, first serve was in no way honored No information was given, except if explicitly asked   Now, to undermine my own order, I'm going to start with point 2. Information was really only given to those who asked. There have been 0 official Stadia statements made through mail or on the social media channels. Sometimes the Stadia account would respond to questions, but that hardly counts as a statement as not everyone sees it. Also a lot of information was shared on Reddit, but that shouldn't be your official point of contact. So general question here: Why is there such a lack of any communication? I have read a lot on Reddit, so I'm a bit up to speed, but let's pretend I didn't. The only news I would have is Stadia launching today, but my order isn't shipping yet. So I contacted support for that about 3 weeks ago, they said it would ship on 7 november. That was just a lie, how is your support staff this uninformed? Well okay, I don't have my controller yet but I will certainly be able to set up my account right? Oh no I can't, which is never communicated to me and I wouldn't have known if it wasn't for Reddit. In general, everyone here payed 130 euro's at the lowest to be involved in Stadia, but then just got completely ignored and no information was given (or false information was given by support).   Then my first point, the first come first serve lie. Why was it stated the orders would be sent out first come, first serve. When it is clearly proven this is not the case. Now it's not even that big of a deal it's not first come, first serve, but why did you lie about it?   In short: I hope Google/Stadia can just respond as to why there is such a lack of communication towards their customers, and why the Store support staff is so badly informed. Please just send everyone an email about when their order and their codes are being delivered. Communicatie with us, let us know anything.
