I’ll be playing everything Larian releases until I die. I got hooked hard when Divine Divinity dropped and I’ve been in love ever since. I’m so happy that they’re doing BG3!   @MaxMarshall : As much as our political views seem to align, this really isn’t the place to fight that battle. Also, what you’re referring to essentially boils down to Alphabet Inc. deciding to pay News Corp. for viewed articles and stop paying legal fees and fighting massive endless lawsuits by News Corp. (Something else to consider: Alphabet Inc. companies are generally doing very questionable/abhorrent things to our global culture and our future as well, you just have to dig a bit harder to find it.)

I feel like the omission of Doom 2016 has to do with id Software partnering with Google on Stadia to be its original proof of concern for their Orion project. My guess is that something hasn’t worked out as planned, but it’s impossible *for me* to say if it’s a business issue or a technical issue. We all know that Doom Eternal won’t be hitting Stadia with full specs with the current K8s deployment, perhaps that has been the issue with Doom 2016? Maybe Google gave id their high end K8s configuration to prototype, Stadia ended up going with a lower spec, and id was unhappy with the loss of performance or fidelity. Just pure speculation.

@StadiaTeam - On my mobile browsers (iOS Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Safari) I don’t see any hyperlinks in the text below: ” Learn more about the deranged minds behind Serious Sam and what makes it such an enduring classic in this recent dev diary with Chief Creative Officer Davor Hunski.” I haven’t been able to check developer mode on the desktop to see if the embedded URL was omitted. Or am I missing something obvious?  Thank you for the update! I’ve loved fragging the insane Croteam creations since the first Serious Sam dropped on PC in 2001. The gameplay is so fun that almost two decades later I still have an absolute blast.

@Rokk - CDRP has 09/2020 as the Cyberpunk release for PC/console with Stadia an unspecified later date.  I see it as completely plausible that the collective devs/engineers at Google and CDPR will have the game running on Stadia servers in 3 months.  My guess is that they’re waiting to see what the final performance is going to be with the standard Stadia kubernetes container resources running the latest Vulkan API. And since this is going to be a huge release, my second guess is that Google is going to be willing to allow additional resources to the containers running Cyberpunk so that it will run better at higher settings than the PS5/XBSX.
I appreciate this type of update! I feel bad for the Stadia community team. People complained about the lack of updates. Now we’re getting updates and people are complaining.

This is one of the biggest pains I deal with on Stadia. I have to link my Controller randomly. And there are times when the code just isn’t accepted at all. I have to power cycle the CCU, phone, and controller to get the code recognized, and sometimes I have to go through multiple power cycles.

Hey! I’ve been gaming since the late 1970s, so I’m probably older than most of the people posting here, but I’m always down for making friends with open-minded people who don’t take joy in making other people feel bad. I play most popular genres except sports. My name is: n0n1337h41 Please add me if you’re if you recognize my avatar or have an opinion about 5-MeO-DMT without needing to google it!

@StadiaTeam - I understand that you’re all under the Alphabet megacorp, but some native iOS support should be prioritized for at least the devices running the A13 Bionic because it provides comparable (and in many cases superior) performance to the Snapdragon 855 running in the Pixel 4/Galaxy S10. But you already know all of that. I’m just providing a kind voice to make this request to all of us Stadia fans who haven’t yet been completely consumed by God Emperor Alphabet.

@Dinobot - I play on a 7 (almost) year old laptop with a wireless PS4 controller inside a chrome browser window and I have fantastic gameplay. I can also play with a wireless Xbox 1 controller in a Chrome tab on my workstation over a corporate VPN. I’ve actually made a lot of believers out of Stadia haters at work because they see me play everyday at lunch and they know how shoddy our VPN can be and how over-taxed our workstations are. I think it’s too bad that Stadia has the terrible reputation that it has, but it makes the service an almost instant-sell to all of the people who have been misled. People thought I was tricking them with a copy of Destiny installed on the workstation. They’d been lied to so much that they just couldn’t believe that 60FPS with no perceptible input lag was possible on Stadia, even in the best situations.
