i tried this out, and it seems to be correct on mine also. when i started up with the soundbar off, the input lag went away... also, i turned on the soundbar in the middle of play, and it didnt start lagging, but the audio was delayed by noticeable milliseconds. so i think my hypothesis of the tv holding back the picture to match the sound might be plausible
I too have an LG soundbar with wireless sub. are you saying that you have the CCU plugged into your TV, and the SB using optical from TV? and once you just simply turned off the SB, the input lag sto... See more...
I too have an LG soundbar with wireless sub. are you saying that you have the CCU plugged into your TV, and the SB using optical from TV? and once you just simply turned off the SB, the input lag stopped?     I find this strange since the CCU is plugged directly into the TV, but i suppose that the TV could be delaying the picture to sync to the sound, which when watching TV, wouldnt be an issue, but with games it could be. Ill try to turn off my soundbar as well tonight to see how it works in comparison.
